  1. Knave Chronofury
  2. None of us are remotely ready for enlightenment because we fear ego death
  3. We feel that there are still things we need, or need to do, before we let go

  7. By creating these needs we create inner turmoil, because we create these forms that we feel are apart of us and who we are, and until we get them, we will never feel complete or content, there's always gonna be that feeling of lack until we attain what it is. Then at that point, again, we are at the crossroads, we can either choose to want something or want for nothing at all

  11. And if the latter were true, then we would all simply surrender to life and simply be

  15. To relay my own experience of this, I feel that there's still a lot of worldly experiences I must indulge in before I can say "I'm done". Or we can go on wanting until the moment we die, never experiencing just one moment of not wanting, of contentment, of bliss. For me, I've create fantastic visions I want to see realised. Why? All is vanity, forms are an appeal to ego, it is formlessness that which is sublime

  19. There is no sublimation in ego desires, only lack, that feeling of lack, of not having what you want, never seeking ease of being by not wanting.

  23. We could cast all our worries away in an instant if we truly desired. We'd fulfil our basic needs and then we'd simply be, not worry about a single thing. But none of us want that yet, maybe we never will. Maybe we will die at whatever age still wanting what we may well never get, always experiencing that separation anxiety from that what you've made yours, what your ego desires

  27. Do you need it, that's the question? Why are we so irrational in this behaviour, wanting what we don't need? Creating a gap in who we are that can be only be filled by it? It just seems so self-sabotaging. But we do it, we all do it. You may wake up doing it, May go to bed doing it, and every moment in between doing it

  31. Always feeling that feeling of not having what it is you want, that feeling of lack
  32. I propose that we're all idiots
  33. We all burden ourselves for what? Ephemeral vanity? Our ego? The source of all our darkness? Our suffering?

  37. We suffer through life, never truly happy until the moment we tune into the present, shutting out all thoughts of a past gone, and a future imagined. Those are devastates. What is, is now. And to be mindful of now is to surrender and be, in this moment, simply be. The moment begins and ends within itself. This is it, and if you can keep that perception of now up for even a few seconds, you know it to be free of past and future and therefore all suffering. Completed oneness with the moment, and to think we can keep that feeling up almost indefinitely sounds perfect... Yet we don't do it. Lots do all over the world, but not us. Why? Vanity. We wish to create pasts that are irrelevant if living in the present. Worry ourselves with things we needn't worry about. We are morons.

  41. We respect the great teachers but do not follow their lifestyle, for what? Vanity? Forms? Ephemeral pleasures? We give up what it is to be human, to be ego? We fear that, yes? We want. We want. We want. We distract ourselves from happiness with wants. We are fools. The source of our own damned suffering. We needn't even interact with forms and experience oneness from now until earthly passing, this much is true. But we don't. Why? Worry what x might think about your ego doing that? Ego worries... Being doesn't worry, there is there the state of being itself. Being is infinite and absolute, a state we be in at any time, which is far superior to any "lucid" aka conscious via ego. We are pulled back to the dimension of forms, back to our wants, back to our suffering. Ever so conscious that for a few seconds, we experienced pure bliss, experiencing no suffering, just being. And yet we continue to burden ourselves with wants. Why? I want this. I want that. Is to say, I lack this, I lack that. No? What do you lack? Do you need it? I can only count a handful of things as need, and once those needs are met. Anything else is vanity, experience, a fleeting sensation, a desire fulfilled for just just a moment before passing in to the past. Recalling that past memory is not being, being takes place right now. Past is fantasy, future is fantasy.

  45. But we don't do it!
  46. We are idiot self-saboteurs, harbingers of our own misery, our eternal summer of discontent
  47. No being, only wanting, only lacking. I'm a dumb fuck moron that thinks I need to do things. No I don't. I don't need to do shit. If the answer is will I likely die if I don't is no, then it's vanity, something to talk about at a later date. Vanity.
  48. Something to show off, vanity.

  52. All is vanity, and we concern ourselves with it. Concern ourselves with the opinions of sheep, we are the pathetic. Concern ourselves with forms, we may have read what the great philosophers have had to say, but we have lived by it. Because we want stuff. We want instagram followers and to travel to x country and to do y and experience z. Why? Vanity. You lack it until you get it, then you get it, then what? Enlightenment? Nah, just one lack gone, another will take it's place, as soon as that moment of having has passed, a new lack will take it's place, a new "goal", more like a hole in the soul. A goal is an anxiety, a lack of. We create goals, we create rifts in ourselves, we create lack, we create yearning, we create suffering. We don't have to. We could just stop and any moment, but we don't, so that we can appeal to vanity

  56. Knowledge? Vanity
  57. Accomplishment? Vanity
  58. Wants? Vanity
  59. We are all idiots.
  60. Most intelligent people I know, we are idiots. We are sufferers. We suffer. And we'll probably suffer different degrees of suffering our entire lives.
  61. This system of consumerism encourages want, encourages vanity, encourages exploitation

  65. What tribal cultures suffer in the way we do? 10 people would operate on terms of communism. With 10m people, it's harder to pull off, because it's not as personal as tribal culture where everyone was dependent on each other and interacted with each other. Consumerism is designed to exploit every one within it. Just to imagine an environment where we could all be free together and simply be is beautiful. Instead we all want and we all worry. We're all wanton worry! (Haw haw)

  69. But seriously, we're idiots. Egoist idiots that want stuff. That is what we are.
