1. I'm afraid I cannot support your plan as proposed, for the following reasons:

4. [*]What you're proposing isn't Minecraft-specific, so I have little justification to publish it on the front page.  This isn't to say that the cause you're raising money for is in any way insubstantial, simply not pertinent to what we feature on the site.
5. [*]Your plan as proposed seems to involve a disproportionate risk-to-gain ratio for both yourself and your donators, given the number of steps involved.  If I'm reading this correctly, you're suggesting that forum users essentially buy you a MBP, which you will use to develop apps.  If you're on a PC already, it seems more pertinent (and business-savvy) to produce Android apps, since it would be both easier and potentially more productive to your cause in the long-run.  Additionally (unless I'm missing a step, which is possible) there doesn't seem to be any coorelation between your app development and the purchase of said shirts.

8. As a personal note - if your intention is to raise money for cancer research, it seems to make more sense (in cost, time and complexity) to simply offer specialty shirts with an online vendor, with all proceeds going to said charity/research.  Far less steps for everyone, more likely to net gainful donations for cancer patients, and far less risk for all involved.  As that is the goal (raising money for cancer research), wouldn't it be better for them to have any donations go directly to them?   :)
