  1. Hello,
  2. I’d like to introduce you to our somewhat innovative take on electronic dance music labelling, Little Bear Label, or LBL for short. It’s an independent music label like any other, yet we are zealous to focus on the small yet budding artists of our latest age. It is, as of current, an inception in its infancy. Regardless of this, we believe that the ability to collate numerous artists’ music production prowess is a powerful one. With such, we entrust that together we could succeed in providing the attention which people such as yourselves deserve. The concept works on the basis of free licencing for non-commercial purposes (protected under the CC Attribution-Non-commercial act) for those wishing to use the music personally or non-commercially.

  4. The reason for my post is to publically announce LBL as a label to many of you who are music producers and would be interested in collaborating with each other - LBL is a stable platform for this. Similarly to NCS, Monstercat, Proximity or any independent label, production manager, or aggregator the rights of the music is shared between the producers and label (this is so that the label is able to apply for aggregation or for a music rights engagement, with companies such as Merlin, or apply for output direct from services such as Spotify). The contractual information will be provided upon the registration of your interest. To usher clarity, we state here that revenue share margins are approximately 85% for the individual. However, the money made by producers is completely dependent on the quantity of views gathered, including the number of commercial licences that qualify for an artist’s content (commercial interest is charged on a per track basis). When and if LBL makes sufficient ground to apply for a direct agreement with DSPs or with Merlin (the music rights agency for independent labels) then artists will also be provided with approximately 85% of the funds earned from each release, EP, and album sale; 15% of this will likely be administration fees, excluding VAT from the region that it is sold in.
