  13.
  14. Weapons: The Void Dragon is immune to natural law and can shape its body into whatever weapons it chooses. Despite this, the Void Dragon generally bears the form of having claws, tusks, a scythed tail, and teeth.
  15.
  16. Character: A C’tan is an flying gargantuan and follows all of the rules for flying gargantuan creature given in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, modified by the ‘Above All Others’ rule (may not join friendly units)
  17.
  18. SPECIAL RULES
  19. C’tan: The Void Dragon is a C’tan, and as such, follows all rules detailed on page 40 of the Necron Codex.
  20.
  21. Wings: The Void Dragon has wings and is treated as Jump Infantry in all respects. The Void Dragon has uncanny maneuverability, giving him the ‘Hit and Run’ Universal Special Rule detailed in Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.
  22.
  23. Fleet of Wing: The void dragon can concentrate his energy flying considerably faster. The Void Dragon has ‘Fleet’ as described in Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.
  24.
  25. Lightning Arc: In the Shooting phase, the Void Dragon can project an energy blast from its mouth with one of the following profiles (you must declare which one you are using before you shoot, and you can change which profile you want to use per turn):
  26.
  27. - Range: 18’’; Strength: 6; AP 3; Assault 4
  28.
  29. - Range 48’’; Strength 10; AP 1; Heavy 1
  30.
  31. Discharge: The Void Dragon may choose to use to discharge an electrical blast instead of attacking normally in close combat. The electrical field engulfs and pierces all of the models around him. Place the Large Blast marker template above the C’tan. Any models entirely beneath it are hit automatically. Models partially beneath it are hit on a 4+. Every model takes a Strength 4 hit with no Armor saving throw permitted.
  32.
  33. Harvest: The Void Dragon enjoys controlling and consuming his victims slowly, through the use of technological implants. Every model (not including monstrous and gargantuan creatures) that falls victim to the Void Dragon in close combat will be molded into a Necron Warrior. Models that are reduced to 0 wounds by the Void Dragon in close combat should be placed on their sides, in the same manner as you would for Necrons awaiting their ‘rean roll. At the beginning of each round of combat, roll a die for each enemy model on its side that is also within 6’’ of the Void Dragon. On a 6+, the model is replaced by a single Necron warrior. (If there is also at least one Tomb Spyder within 12’’, the roll is increased by +1, this effect is cumulative).
  34.
  35. - If there are 5 or more Necron Warriors that were successfully spawned this way, you may choose for them to form their own unit, consolidating up to 6’’, and at least 2’’ away from an enemy unit. This unit will confer a Victory Point to your opponent if it is destroyed. As long as this unit remains less than 10 models, it may join a friendly unit of warriors by moving to satisfy unit coherency rules (similar to independent characters).
  36.
  37. - If there are less than 5 Necron warriors spawned this way, then they must join a friendly Necron Warrior unit that is within 6’’. (If a Tomb Spyder is within 12’’ of the spawned Warriors, they may join with any friendly Necron Warrior unit on the board.
  38.
  39. Terrifying Visage: the void dragon has the fear special rule
  40.
  41. Dreams of Transcendence: When led by The Void Dragon, Necrons experience divine stimuli that bind and controls them, subject to the Void Dragon’s will. Humans might call these dreams, as the Necrons are put into a lulled state of unconsciousness. Every ‘necron’ unit in an army led by the void Dragon has the ‘moves through cover’ Universal Special Rule, detailed in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.
