  3. Welcome. This is James Corbett
  4. of The Corbett Report
  5.
  6. with your EyeOpener Report for
  7. BoilingFrogsPost.com
  8.
  9. In the days of hysteria immediately
  10. following the Boston bombing,
  11.
  12. an unlikely media darling emerged.
  13.
  14. Ruslan Tsarni, the alleged bomber's uncle,
  15.
  16. known to the press as "Uncle Ruslan,"
  17.
  18. gained notoriety for the ferocity
  19.
  20. with which he denounced his own nephews
  21.
  22. and their alleged Islamic radicalism.
  23.
  24. -- (many speakers)
  25. -- What do you think provoked this?
  26.
  27. Umm, being losers.
  28.
  29. Hatred to those who were able to settle
  30. themselves.
  31.
  32. These are the only reasons I
  33. can imagine of.
  34.
  35. These brothers are wanted for
  36. killing three people,
  37.
  38. and maiming dozens of others.
  39.
  40. (Ruslan): Oh, [xx] I know, I've just been
  41. watching it, I've been reading it.
  42.
  43. I've been reading it.
  44.
  45. The people who did this do not even
  46. deserve even existing on this Earth.
  47.
  48. They do not deserve to exist
  49. on this Earth: that's what I think.
  50.
  51. It isn't hard to see why the press
  52. focused so closely on "Uncle Ruslan."
  53.
  54. He said precisely what the
  55. so-called authorities
  56.
  57. wanted to hear about the suspects
  58.
  59. in precisely the way they wanted
  60. to hear it.
  61.
  62. Compare this to the coverage of the
  63. boys' mother in the mainstream media.
  64.
  65. After revealing the FBI's connection
  66. to the Tsarnaev brothers,
  67.
  68. causing the Bureau to reluctantly confirm
  69.
  70. that they had, in fact, investigated
  71. Tamerlan in the past,
  72.
  73. she has been alternatively smeared
  74. and dismissed
  75.
  76. by those same media outlets
  77. which have refused
  78.
  79. to delve into the FBI connection.
  80.
  81. but even more interesting than the
  82. sudden popularity of "Uncle Ruslan"
  83.
  84. is his background and ties to other
  85. organizations.
  86.
  87. In an official SEC filing from 2005,
  88.
  89. it was revealed that Ruslan Tsarni had
  90. worked as a consultant for USAID,
  91.
  92. ostensibly an independent federal agency
  93.
  94. which is little more than an adjunct of
  95. the US State Department,
  96.
  97. and is a known front for deep-cover
  98. CIA agents
  99.
  100. in various geostrategic corners
  101. of the globe.
  102.
  103. At the same time in the mid-1990s,
  104.
  105. Tsarni incorporated a company
  106.
  107. called the Congress of Chechen
  108. International Organizations,
  109.
  110. which recently unearthed documents show
  111.
  112. was providing material support to
  113. Chechen terrorists
  114.
  115. including Sheikh Fatih, who,
  116.
  117. according to US Attorney
  118. Patrick Fitzgerald,
  119.
  120. was a military commander in the violent
  121. jihadist movement in Chechnya
  122.
  123. and a preacher of violent jihad.
  124.
  125. As investigative reporter Daniel Hopsicker
  126. has demonstrated,
  127.
  128. the address for the Congress of Chechen
  129. International Organizations
  130.
  131. just happened to be the home address of
  132. Graham E. Fuller, formerly vice-chairman
  133.
  134. of the Reagan-era CIA's National
  135. Intelligence Council.
  136.
  137. The relationship between Ruslan
  138. and this former top CIA official
  139.
  140. was not a loose one.
  141.
  142. Tsarni married Fuller's daughter in the
  143. late-1990s,
  144.
  145. and lived in Fuller's home for some time,
  146.
  147. basing his terror-supporting organization
  148.
  149. under Fuller's own roof.
  150.
  151. Fuller himself has an
  152. interesting background
  153.
  154. that includes his two-decade stint
  155. with the Central Intelligence Agency.
  156.
  157. During that time, he served
  158.
  159. as National Intelligence Officer
  160. for Near East and South Asia.
  161.
  162. One of his most notorious acts during
  163. that time
  164.
  165. was penning a memo that, according
  166. to the New York Times,
  167.
  168. later became the basis for the
  169. Iran-Contra scandal.
  170.
  171. In addition, Fuller has long made
  172. the argument
  173.
  174. that Islam is a potentially useful
  175. geopolitical tool
  176.
  177. for the United States to manipulate
  178. for their own ends.
  179.
  180. He has been quoted as saying,
  181.
  182. "The policy of guiding the evolution
  183. of Islam"
  184.
  185. "and of helping them against our
  186. adversaries"
  187.
  188. "worked marvelously well in Afghanistan
  189. against the Russians."
  190.
  191. "The same doctrines can still be used"
  192.
  193. "to destabilize what remeains of Russian
  194. power,"
  195.
  196. "and especially to counter the Chinese
  197. influence in Central Asia."
  198.
  199. Fuller's ties also extend to the network
  200.
  201. of Imam Fethullah Gulen,
  202.
  203. an Islamic preacher who was run out of
  204. Turkey
  205.
  206. for allegations of conspiracy to overthrow
  207. the secular government
  208.
  209. Gulen ended up in Pennsylvania,
  210.
  211. where he now oversees a vast organization
  212.
  213. known as the Gulen Movement.
  214.
  215. which has over $20 billion dollars
  216. at its disposal
  217.
  218. for setting up Islamic schools in
  219. over 100 countries.
  220.
  221. Being a wanted man by the Turkish
  222. government,
  223.
  224. Gulen did not just waltz into the US
  225. and gain immediate residency.
  226.
  227. Instead, he fought a protracted
  228. legal battle
  229.
  230. that included reference letters from
  231. well-connected political figures,
  232.
  233. including none other than Graham Fuller.
  234.
  235. And in a similar vein, the
  236. Gulen movement,
  237.
  238. which many of you have heard of,
  239. undoubtedly,
  240.
  241. is the biggest social movement based
  242. on religious values in Turkey today,
  243.
  244. with huge infrastructure, educational
  245. infrastructure,
  246.
  247. devoting lots of attention to education,
  248.
  249. communications, publications,
  250. and schools, now,
  251.
  252. in perhaps over 100 countries
  253. of the world,
  254.
  255. including in the United States,
  256.
  257. and has many centers, including
  258. here in Texas.
  259.
  260. And indeed, many of the lectures
  261. that I've been giving here
  262.
  263. have been part of the cooperation
  264.
  265. with the various Gulen-affiliated
  266. organizations
  267.
  268. Since the details of Fuller's connection
  269.
  270. to the Boston boming suspect's
  271. uncle emerged,
  272.
  273. Fuller has admitted the connection,
  274.
  275. but dismissed the suggestion that
  276. there is any link
  277.
  278. between the CIA and the Boston
  279. bombing case
  280.
  281. as "absurd."
  282.
  283. Late last month, it was revealed
  284.
  285. that Tamerlan Tsarnaev had
  286. attended a workshop last year
  287.
  288. sponsored by the CIA-linked
  289. Jamestown Foundation.
  290.
  291. Late last month, Sibel Edmonds appeared
  292. on the Lew Rockwell show
  293.
  294. to discuss the coincidence of Fuller's
  295. connection to this case.
  296.
  297. Graham Fuller retired from the CIA
  298. about, maybe, 10, 15 years ago,
  299.
  300. but he still has been working as
  301. contractor with the CIA.
  302.
  303. Now, what... I mean, if people believe
  304. in coincidences,
  305.
  306. even those people right now
  307. would pause and say,
  308.
  309. first, they exposed that the
  310. brothers were active
  311.
  312. with Jamestown Foundation
  313. CIA front,
  314.
  315. then comes the fact that the uncle,
  316. who was the first person...
  317.
  318. and that would make it very legitimate:
  319.
  320. even their own uncle comes out and
  321. says these guys are radical Islamists!
  322.
  323. Well, that uncle happens to be the
  324. ex-son-in-law
  325.
  326. of one of the top CIA operatives
  327. in the region.
  328.
  329. Now, even people who believe
  330. in coincidences
  331.
  332. will pause and say, "There can't be."
  333.
  334. "There's no way that he would have
  335. this kind of coincidence."
  336.
  337. Well, even the documents surfaced,
  338.
  339. even though we have the coverage,
  340.
  341. you will not see this being covered
  342. or played out
  343.
  344. in the US mainstream media,
  345.
  346. because the uncle is part of the
  347. official narrative.
  348.
  349. Now, as with Graham Fuller, this is
  350. very interesting, Lou,
  351.
  352. because about six, seven years ago,
  353.
  354. I released a list of about 15, 20
  355. Americans, US officials,
  356.
  357. both from elected officials but
  358. also appointed individuals,
  359.
  360. and these individuals, with their
  361. names, appeared in other sites,
  362.
  363. but I just put their pictures.
  364.
  365. I said, well, the state secrets privilege
  366.
  367. puts a gag order and says I cannot
  368. talk about the FBI targets
  369.
  370. in terms of the US persons, officials
  371. involved in these terror activities,
  372.
  373. including the stuff with Bin Laden
  374. and 9/11.
  375.
  376. However, I'm just putting these
  377. pictures out,
  378.
  379. and I'm putting the names,
  380.
  381. and I'm gonna name it my State
  382. Secrets Privilege Gallery.
  383.
  384. Well, anybody who was familiar
  385. with my case,
  386.
  387. anybody who was following the
  388. case with all the gag orders,
  389.
  390. they knew immediately this was
  391. one way to put out there,
  392.
  393. and for people to know who were
  394. the people involved in my case,
  395.
  396. and why the state secrets privilege
  397. invocation.
  398.
  399. This was in 2007, end of 2007, early 2008
  400.
  401. that the documents went out to people.
  402.
  403. If you look at that list,
  404.
  405. you will see Graham Fuller there.
  406.
  407. Now, Graham Fuller's name just came out,
  408.
  409. and nobody in the US had really
  410. heard of him
  411.
  412. except for some of the books
  413. he has written
  414.
  415. talking about how, actually,
  416. moderate Islam
  417.
  418. can be very good in that part of the
  419. world, et cetera.
  420.
  421. Which is his front, because he's
  422. also active
  423.
  424. within the academia here in the United
  425. States.
  426.
  427. But nobody has really seen this guy's
  428. significance.
  429.
  430. Now, I put out this name, and people
  431. look and say,
  432.
  433. "Why would she put this guy from CIA,
  434. Graham Fuller?"
  435.
  436. Well, guess what?
  437.
  438. Graham Fuller happens to be the
  439. ex-father-in-law
  440.
  441. of the uncle for the Boston
  442. terror attacks.
  443.
  444. After we put out this information and
  445. some alternative sources,
  446.
  447. Graham Fuller went to the media and said,
  448.
  449. "Yes, he was married to my daughter,
  450. and they got divorced,"
  451.
  452. "but to say that there is any link
  453. between these suspects and the CIA "
  454.
  455. "would be absolutely absurd."
  456.
  457. Well, of course: that's what
  458. he would say.
  459.
  460. Now, further documents surfaced yesterday
  461.
  462. showing that, not only that:
  463. the uncle lived with him...
  464.
  465. -- and this is Graham Fuller --
  466.
  467. in Graham Fuller's Maryland house for
  468. over one year, in Rockville, Maryland.
  469.
  470. So it was not just a casual, he was the
  471. father-in-law and then they got divorced.
  472.
  473. No: even after the divorce, this man
  474. lived in Graham Fuller's address,
  475.
  476. in his house,
  477.
  478. and he used Graham Fuller's address
  479. as his official address in 1990s.
  480.
  481. Again, you won't see this being mentioned
  482. at all within the media.
  483.
  484. A narrative has begun to emerge
  485.
  486. from the background noise of the
  487. Boston bombing story
  488.
  489. that paints a very different picture
  490.
  491. from what we have been told.
  492.
  493. We have the uncle of the bombing suspects
  494.
  495. emerging as a media darling for
  496. his denunciation of the brothers,
  497.
  498. who just so happens to have worked
  499. with USAID
  500.
  501. and was living and working at the home
  502.
  503. of a top CIA official,
  504.
  505. who has actually advocated guiding
  506. the evolution of Islam
  507.
  508. to destabilize Russia and China in
  509. Central Asia.
  510.
  511. Now we have several pieces
  512. of the puzzle
  513.
  514. that Edmonds predicted in the
  515. past few weeks falling into place:
  516.
  517. That the bombers were likely
  518. being run by the CIA;
  519.
  520. that the event would bring focus
  521. on radical terrorists,
  522.
  523. who have hitherto been painted as
  524. "freedom-fighting allies" of the US;
  525.
  526. and that the case may be used as leverage
  527.
  528. to make new inroads on the Syria
  529. stand-off
  530.
  531. between Washington and Moscow.
  532.
  533. And several of the pieces of this puzzle
  534.
  535. revolve around Graham E. Fuller:
  536.
  537. former National Intelligence Officer
  538. for Near East and South Asia,
  539.
  540. a proponent of political Islam,
  541.
  542. an inspiration for the Iran-contra affair,
  543.
  544. a character reference for CIA
  545. darling Fethullah Gulen,
  546.
  547. a former RAND analyst,
  548.
  549. and a father-in-law of the Boston
  550. bomber's uncle.
  551.
  552. So what else is there to be uncovered
  553.
  554. regarding Fuller's background
  555. and activities?
  556.
  557. For the answer to this, you wil
  558. have to stay tuned
  559.
  560. to alternative researchers like
  561. Edmonds and Hopsicker
  562.
  563. and tune the corporate media,
  564.
  565. which hasn't dared to even broach
  566. the question.
