  1. I will begin by stating several points where farmers do get pardoned from a few taxes like off-road fuel, insurance, and electricity. However, the farmers still do not generate sufficient revenue to lower prices and help the community. Farmers are already highly taxed due to their high real estate so every other tariff is just adding to their loss in profit. This further hurts the community because then the community, for example, South San Antonio don’t have the funds to buy from the farmers of the supermarket.
