  2. What is this?
  3. -An Ace Attorney styled adventure game/visual novel with the social link mechanic
  4. from Persona 3/4 and a 999/Battle Royale/Hunger Games-like setting
  5.  
  6. What's it about?
  7. -A group of super skilled high schoolers along with one ordinary one chosen by raffle
  8. are selected to attend Hope's Peak Academy. They go there, only to find that they've
  9. been imprisoned in the academy by a teddy bear called Monokuma, who tells them that
  10. they have to kill someone without being found out to escape.
  11. After someone is murdered all the students must all take part in a "Class Trial",
  12. to determine who the culprit is.

  14. How does it play?
  15. -Each chapter of the game is split into 2 portions: (n)everyday life/Daily Life  and neveryday life/Deadly Life.
  16. During (n)everyday life you can explore the academy, talk to the other students
  17. and progress with the story. There's also a section called "Free Time" during which
  18. you can hang out with the other students, give them gifts, learn more about them and
  19. gain skills for the class trial.
  20. During neveryday life, a.k.a. after someone gets killed, you have to "Investigate"
  21. the crime scene and other related places and collect "Ammunition"/"Truth Bullets", a.k.a. evidence
  22. for the class trial.

  24. In the "Class Trial", you have to debate with other students in order to pinpoint
  25. the culprit of the case.
  26. This is the most gameplay-filled portion of the game, as it's mostly made up
  27. of minigames, some of which include:

  29. Non-stop Debate/
  30. Here you have to debate with the other students over various parts of the case
  31. and find the contradiction in one of their statements. This makes up most of the
  32. trial
  33.  
  34. Epiphany Anagram/Hangman's Gambit
  35. It's hangman.

  37. M.T.B./B.T.B
  38. A rhythm minigame where you argue with someone, usually the culrpit, head to head.
  39.  
  40. Climax Reenactment/Closing Argument
  41. You have an icomplete manga detailing the events of the case and your job is to
  42. fill in the blanks with the correct panels.

  47. The Vita port has received an official English release by NIS America in both the US and Europe

  49. As for the second game, NISA will be releasing the Vita port in Fall.
