GROGNARD MAGIC: THE GATHERING HOMEBREW RULES FOR OCTGN
1) No more than 2 Mythic Rare cards in your entire deck. Yes, this includes Planeswalkers.
2) No more than 2 of the same Rare card. The total number of rare cards is limited to 1/4th the size of your deck. This shouldn't be too restrictive, and does not include the 2 mythic rares.
3) Sets are limited to Extended Format. You can look up the current definition of Extended Format at http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=judge/resources/sfrextended
4) If a card in the Extended Format has its rarity listed as "Special", and it has no other rarity in Extended Format, then it is banned. Older reprints outside the Extended Format are also illegal.
EDH/COMMANDER FORMAT
1) No more than 4 Mythic Rare cards in your entire deck, including your commander.
2) Rare cards are still limited to 1/4th the size of your deck. Mythic Rares still do not count towards this limit.
3) Other than the two above rules, normal EDH rules still apply. EDH rules can be found here: http://wiki.mtgsalvation.com/article/EDH
