  1. Hemomancy
  2.
  3. New ways to use hitdie
  4.
  5. -Sacrifice 1 hit die to add the amount to your attack and damage rolls for one attack.
  6. -Burn up to half your hitdie as an action to regain health. This will trigger an AoO, however.
  7. -Burn a hitdie and add the amount rolled to your spell save DC for one casting. If the spell targets multiple creatures, you may divide out the amount rolled between them equally, rounded up.
  8. -Immediately use a reaction to spend one hitdie to reduce damage from one attack by an amount equal to the roll.
  9.
  10. A player can use two hemomancies, including the same one twice (but not at the same time), in one turn.
  11.
  12. -Hero points – function the same, but with greater costs. Your hero points now equal your level (meaning you gain one each level), but you no longer regain them when leveling up.
  13.
  14. -No flanking
  15.
  16. -When a player is downed, they must immediately make a death saving throw. Additionally, failed saves do not go away until a long rest is completed.
  17. -A roll of 20 gives you two successful saves, instead of 1hp.
  18. -A player that is downed, but brought back to positive HP before they make three successful saves, is stunned for one turn. This condition cannot be removed in any way.
  19. -A player that has died can be revived if another player spends a full turn to revive them uninterrupted.
  20.
  21. -Each time a player dies, they lose HP equal to one level, and lose one hitdie. Another player can choose to sacrifice their own HP and hitdie if they revive the fallen player.
  22.
  23. -A death that results in total destruction of the body (IE disintegration) triples the cost for revival.
  24.
  25. -Players will have opportunities to regain their lost HP/hitdie, but they will be uncommon.
  26.
  27. -MAYBES-
  28.
  29. -Healing potions restore hitdie, instead of HP. When you drink a healing potion, you may immediately use the healing feature of hemomancy.
  30.
  31. Common – 1
  32. Uncommon – 2
  33. Rare – 4
  34. Very rare – 8
  35.
  36. -Long rests only restore half your total hitdie unless you rest in a hospitable location.
  37.
  38. -SUPER MAYBE-
  39.
  40. -All healing spells that require an action now trigger an AoO.
