  1. A long and tiresome day. That’s what she was thinking to herself while the mumbling of the teacher continued on the background. ‘Another boring day.. Great.’
  2. Luckily she felt strangly energetic today. It gave her the opportunity to see the fun side of today, the hours to come. Many know her as a kind girl, yet a few know her for the truth. A fearless warrior, defender of races and such cliché’s!
  3. Her mind wandered of, synchronizing with the imaginary ticking noise of a clock counting down its seconds.
  4.
  5. A big grassy field, the soft breeze of warm air and the sun glowing on her face. She could still hear the sounds from birds in the tree line. She looked around and saw an image she had seen often before. Stretched out lands, large mountains covering the horizon and a big forest in the front of her. The sun warmed her soft skin, as she moved towards the forest. She could feel a familiar weight pushing down on her shoulders. It wasn’t her backpack, it was her trusted bow and arrow. The unmistakable smell of her leather belt warming up in the afternoon sun welcomed her while she stepped through the tall grass. As she came closer to the forest the sounds became louder. The chirping of crickets, the melodic songs of birds she had never seen before and the nearly soundless sound of the warm air rustling the leaves. She felt the change of underground under her shoes as she stepped into the forest, away from the troubles and boring life choices.
  6. As she ran through the forest she felt a great joy filling her, freedom, she thought. She ran through the trees, over their roots evading the branches.
  7. When suddenly she felt another presence. In a reflex she turned around, gasping for her breath when she came face to face with a large brown bear. The bear was standing upright, roaring with all its might. Its claws waning dangerously in the air. Without a second thought she reached for her bow while alongside that same movement she drew an arrow. Using the ample seconds she had to their fullest. As the bear came closer, determined not giving her any more time. Determined to make her its meal.
  8. In a haze she cocked the arrow while crouching down to stay as low to the ground as possible. The bear charged on all four paws. She rolled away from direct contact with the sharp claws as she shot her arrow towards the bear.
  9. A penetrating scream followed. Still unbeknown to her what made that sound she looked up and saw something she only ever seen before in a nightmare.
  10.
  11. Her hands were on a cold floor, the silence in this situation penetrated her mind as she looked up towards the shocked expression of her fellow students. Her backpack was opened and a book lay open on the floor next to the feet of her teacher. As she kept looking up she saw her teachers hands covering his face,..
  12.
  13. She then learned not to daydream during class anymore.
