From as far as I can remember, I always felt a strong, passionate attachment to our country, to its history - I love France.
I love from the depths of my heart from the depths of my soul, this millennial nation which does not surrender, these brave people who do not give up.
I am a woman, and as a woman I feel as an extreme opression the restrictions on freedom which multiply in our entire country through the development of Islamic fundamentalism.
I am a mother, and like millions of parents, I worry every day about the state of our country and the world that we will leave behind for our children.
I am a lawyer, and I kept during my years in service a deep attachment for the respect of public liberties, and sensitivity, particularly to the victims confronted by the impunity of criminals.
Basically, if I were to define myself, I think I would say quite simply that I am truly, proudly, faithfully, undoubtedly French.
I receive insults about France as if they were directly addressing me.
Whether it's insecurity and violence or misery, which affects too many compatriots, I feel the sufferings of the French just like many of my personal sufferings.
The choice you make during the presidential election that is to come is crucial and fundamental.
It is a true choice of civilization.
Either you continue with those who have lied,
failed,
betrayed, who have forsaken the people and disoriented France,
Or you decide to put again France into order.
Yes, I want to put France back in order.
I want the French to be able to live free in an independent France.
I want the French to be able to live securely in a respected France.
I want the French to be able to protect in a prosperous France.
I want the French to be able to live together in a proud France.
I want the French to be able to live well in a sustainable France.
I want the French to be able to live their dreams in a just France!
That is the whole point of my commitment.
That's what I'm fighting for.
This is the project I will be covering at the head of the State.
