Hi.
Thank-You for your prompt notification of something I had previously been required to physically collect.
I do, However, find your statement most interesting. Evidence of what, precisely?
I am still waiting to be told if you will -=- Or if you will not -=- be contacting the council (breckland council) on my behalf, To instruct them to pay me the monies that they owe me and are 'eager' to pay me - via personal cheque - As I clearly and explicitly instructed them to back in november of last year. Please would you also inform them I will accept the interest this has earnt since november in the form of a personal cheque.
Concerning the netbook of mine the Police have in their possession, I now recieve admin alerts from that system(/me loves cron). The battery is at less than 74% efficiency(just under 9 hrs of operation), and is due and elidgable to be traded in on its warranty. Preferably before it expires. As they do not require the battery -=- Because we all know it will be tethered to ethernet whilt Encase is running and therefore not portable, Please facilitate its return so I may tend to this issue.
Do you not find it concerning it has taken almost six months to achieve an 18hr, almost entirely automated operation? Although their equipment should far supersede my own, which should bring this time down - immensely - And they should have teams analysing the data yeilded, who should of been able to start within two hrs - after which they had successfully cloned my HD - Allowing them to process whilst attempting to restore deleted data - Which will bring this down even further.
Concerning the cloned copies - and there is more than one - of my HD, Once they finally decide they are bored with wasting my time and give me my netbook back, how would one go about ordering the destruction of their RAID arrays that contained these? As these contain sensitive data pertaining to third parties, foreign systems and myself, and these people are data recovery experts so proof of deletion is in fact, nothing.
I am currently compiling and collating evidence of multiple real and serious breech's of Section 3 of the Misuse of Computers Act(1990) - And as such would like to know if there is anyone within your firm that would be prepared to assist me with this, Or if I would be better off using the CPS. If there is someone, They have the oppertunity to learn a great deal about how computers and networking works - In order to understand the evidence - And I am prepared to offer ½ of the absurdly large payout on success. Data damages to one file alone will take in excess of 1200hrs to restore. I used to charge £150/hr for data recovery, although I feel this should be altered to reflect inflation. This is not limited to this one file, although it is one of the longest to restore. It spans multiple systems with multiple attack vectors. I have evidence of multiple millions of attacks.
I look forwards to your prompt reply.
