- The sun was high in the air and the heat was unbearable. Most denizens of planet Vegeta
- remained underground or in shade until the air cooled, but a group of small insects were
- determined.
- They climbed all over the creature who had fallen prone in their domain late last night,
- drawn to the moisture he sweated from his lean body. As well as the bottle of foul smelling
- liquid clutched in his hand. Facedown and snoring loudly, he remained oblivious to his guests,
- or the fact that his alcohol was spilling out into the desert, evaporating in the sun.
- He grunted loudly and the insects skittered away to their lairs, some fleeing into the
- overturned bottle.
- With a loud yawn and a tired groan the man rolled onto his back and immediately let out cry of
- pain and disappointment as he faced the noon sun. He covered his face with one hand and hefted
- the bottle to his mouth with his other. He let out a sigh as the liquid touched his lips, it
- quickly turned to a sound of disgust as he felt something moving inside his mouth. He leaped to
- his feet and hunched over, spitting out several small insects, indigenous to the deserts of
- Vegeta.
- His brown, monkey-like tail twitched in agitation as he fixed his black eyes on the insects. He
- lifted a hand and a small ball of blue energy formed and was launched towards them. On impact
- the tiny creatures were vaporized with only a faint puff of smoke left behind.
- The man ran a hand through his messy black hair, common with the Saiyan race. The insects
- dislodging from his hair completely escaping his notice as he muttered darkly to himself. He
- looked at the bottle of alcohol in his hand and felt a rumbling in his stomach, suggesting that
- he should avoid consuming any more.
- With a series of beeps, he activated his scouter and looked
- at the time and the nauseous feeling in his stomach grew worse. He was late. He gripped the
- the bottle tightly and threw it as far as he could off into the desert. His blue aura erupted
- around him as he leaped into the air, flying at high speed.
- It took only a few minutes to arrive at his destination, a small stone building with a simple
- metal door. He didn't knock, he just pushed the door open and stepped through.
- Within seconds a fist was lodged in his cheek and his head slammed backwards against the wall
- with a loud BANG that shook the building. He winced and looked down at the small Saiyan woman in
- front of him "DAIKON! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" she demanded. He looked around sheepishly,
- noticing that his head had cracked the stone where she had punched him. "Sorry Mizuna. You
- know I had a mission."
- She snorted loudly, looking him up and down. From the desert sand on his armour to the alcohol
- on his breath to the sand and bugs in his hair, it was obvious that Daikon had finished his work
- last night and gotten drunk again. "Liar." She said simply.
