  46. Background: "I wanna be the best"
  47.
  48. David was always different, he was never content with just staying in the background, he had to show everybody that he was the best. He spent all of his time studying, ignoring the world around him and he just focused on proving that he could do it. He didn't want to be like everybody else in his family, or even the rest of his town, he wanted to be somebody special. So he did everything that he could to stand out, he didn't care what people thought of him, only that they were thinking about him.
  49.
  50. Whilst he was studying, he was able to come into contact with an organization called the Paranet. Apparently, David had a strong talent for magic, but he wasn't interested in that. Sure magic sounded like it was interesting, but because of all the secrecy, nobody would ever know about what he could do, as such Tony only dabbled in his magic as a hobby.
  51.
  52. Eventually it all paid off for David, not only was he able to finish school early, but he had gotten a scholarship for a Physics degree at a prestigious university.
  53.
  54.
  55. Rising Conflict: "Machines hate me"
  56.
  57. David's magic, and his lack of control would eventually force him to abandon his dream. He never knew that his magic could cause electronics to fail like that. If he had, he would never have gone into lab, and maybe those people wouldn't have been injured in the accident.
  58.
  59. David never did find out the details about what had happened, but he knew enough, it was all his fault. If he had bothered to learn more about his magic, it never would have happened. He could have trained himself so that he wouldn't have broken the machines, or if he couldn't, he would have just avoided them.
  60.
  61. Instead he just ran away, he didn't know where he was, or where he was going. All he knew is that he never wanted to go back.
