  7. You gaze curiously at the heavy medallion in your hands. Though a pentagram is etched on it, it makes your heart feel lighter and your head a bit clearer, as though repelling a fog that you didn't realize was in your mind until just now. The pentagram on its surface begins to glow brighter and brighter, and as it does, so do the numerous cracks and throughout this room… You hadn't noticed those until just now either.

  12. The traitor has discovered that the house is blocking the gateway to Hell. He is trying to break the pentagram's spell in order to make the house collapse.

  16. You Win When …
  17. … you reinforce the supporting spell on the house. The wizard who originally cast the supporting spell on the house is the only one who can reinforce it.

  21. How to Cast the Spell
  22. Though the house is caving in and cracking in places around you, you must brave your claustrophobia and travel to the Statuary Corridor. Once there, you need to make a Knowledge roll of 5+ to locate the bust of the wizard who originally cast the supporting spell.

  24. Once you have located the proper bust, a hero in the Statuary Corridor can make a Knowledge roll in order to cast the spell once more. The wizard appreciates sacrifices, and will be more willing to help you if you offer him some.

  26. Add 3 to the result if the Medallion is dropped in this room. Add 1 to the result for every other item or omen card dropped in this room (You may drop the Bite, Dog, Girl, and Madman cards as if they were items). The Blood Dagger can be dropped in front of the bust without causing any damage to the player dropping it. The Druidic Charm can be dropped in front of the bust without being discarded. The Mask cannot be dropped in front of the bust unless it is not being worn.

  39. The news the next day report that no bodies have been found in the rubble yet. Is it possible that your friend made it out alive? Unlikely, considering you yourself barely did. What worries you more is that none of the reporters seem to notice that black, clawed hand twitching from underneath that one pile of wood…
  40. You tighten your grip on the medallion and hope that the hand's twitching stops soon.
