The prophet Muhammad said, and this is narrated in Sahih al Bukhari and Sahih Muslim: "Whoever innovates or accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allāh, His Angels and the whole of mankind."
Whoever accommodates an innovator then the curse of Allāh and His angels are upon him.
We do not unite with ahlul bid'ah. Rather, we unite upon the truth. So if they do not want to be part of the truth and do not want to unite with the truth, then we do not unite with them.
