  1. *Jackie wasn't Jackie anymore. With every punch that smashed into Crow and shattered his bones, he felt more alive, yet he was losing himself completely. And he knew this. He understood that perfectly, and had accepted it.
  2. It was the price to pay, it was the punishment for the path he had chosen and from which he could not turn back.
  3.
  4. In those last moments in which he felt he was about to fail, just as his energy was about to give out and die, he snapped. He exploded in dark crimson flames, a tornado of lightning storming around him, dark red lightning crashing into this parallel dimension from the very skies. The Gods had once answered his prayers, and they did so again, his Godly Fury becoming THEIR fury.
  5. The Demi God had ascended past that and become a God, a God of Wrath!
  6.
  7. His eyes became completely white, his nails turning into claws, the blood around him swirling in conjunction with those flames and electricity, time freezing for a moment as Jackie's completely white eyes widened and stared into Crow's, his lips turning into a wide, unnnatural and sadistic grin.
  8. "SHUN...!"
  9.
  10. The God slammed both of his feet into the ground, his right hand darting to grab Crow by the neck and grip him tight, choking him, his fingers nearly crushing his windpipe as he reared back. "GOKU...!"
  11. A surge of lightning, flame and blood came out of the gem of the God Hand... and seeped from Crow's very body. This was the ultimate form of Rage, the ultimate form of Ansatsuken. This was a DIVINE PUNISHMENT. The Don would feel, in every punch, in every strike, each and every Sin that he had committed, each and every one of his mistakes, and most importantly, Jackie's hate for him.
  12.
  13. The God let go of Crow's neck as he shot his God Hand forwards like a bullet, smashing it into the man's face in midair, unleashing a merciless barrage of soul-crushing punches, the dimension beggining to shatter from the force of each blow, tearing Crow's very SOUL. "SATSU!"
  14.
  15. And he wasn't done.
  16. "SHUN GOKU SATSU! SHUN GOKU SATSU! SHUN GOKU SATSU! SHUN GOKU SATSU! SHUN. GOKU. SATSU!!!!!"
  17.
  18. It was a brutal massacre... By the end, Jackie stopped and stared at the bloody pulp that used to be Crow, grinning, his eyes wide open, his fists and claws covered in blood, panting...
  19. Was that enough?*
  20. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21. *Crow had this fight to be at an even level. It was almost in the tide of Crow as he faltered and hit the floor with increased velocity from Jackie's increasingly powerful attacks. His punches were nothing like he had ever seen. Or witnessed, for that matter. This energy, it eclipsed even that of the Retriever's and Lettice's combined. It wasn't enough to take down Crow, however... This power it was something all new and developed from the pain and loss of one man turning his head from the path of good and onto something diverging completely away from it. This rage... This innate taste of energy and power... It did naught to help the battle as Crow looked to be scared to death from the raw power of it. It made him sick to his stomach, it pulled at his head and almost forced him to hurl at the putrid energies placed into the sky. Into the air of this new dimension. The fight continued as Crow slashes away at the Demi-God's bod, his swords able to do far more damage than previously due to the latent energy of his soul being forced into each of the blades.
  22.
  23. The fight was at it's mid-point as Crow began to lose his headwind from the rage and power given forth from the Satsui Symbol. It was crushing Crow's mind, his body, and his ability to fight back despite being able to hold up so well before. It was all he could do to struggle as he was pounded nigh effortlessly into the floor like some kind of rag-doll with no purpose other than dying. It was brutal, it was not the best thing to have at that moment. It showed Crow just how enraged he had made this one man. It had shown him just how upset the loss could take someone, that all people who lost something didn't turn out to become protectors like the man. It had shown him that even though he carried with him the mark of a true defender, the Sharingan, it didn't mean that everyone who had loved ones taken didn't fall to this path.
  24.
  25. There were so many paths to take, so many ways to go, and even in the brightest of light, the darkest beings were born. Jackie fit this persona almost perfectly with the rage empowered soul. Blades clashes with fists as power began to shake and break the world they were stationed in, Jackie's innate power was too much. It was far too much to handle for one singular man. Enough to make or break him, and that it did.
  26.
  27. Crow was knocked back from a punch as Jackie would soon follow to end the fight completely. A crippling punch came his way as the man could no longer keep his defenses up and perfected. The man was send flying back as for a moment, he was able to see into Jackie. Something no one else could've ever seen. Something they would've never even thought possible in any way shape or form. Inside of those rage filled eyes lied the hope and pain Crow had tried to bring out. What happened to this hope he had seen deep within his eyes?
  28.
  29. It was crushed by the flurry of white energy now filling his eyes, Jackie was no longer the man they all knew. He was little more than a demon. A demon who would stop at nothing to fulfilled his WRATH.
  30.
  31. Rushing forward with speeds that he'd never seen, the Demi-God pushed a hand to Crow's throat and stared him down with eyes lacking remorse or anything other than hatred and the desire to win. To crush. His energy began to fade slowly as what came next could only be described as satanic and evil in and of itself.
  32.
  33. The crushing of his throat only added to the pain he was suffering from seeing his actions reflected onto someone else. Someone who had the same loss he had. Crow created the monsters who killed his beloved, he had been the one to give reason to believe he'd killed Dharien. And he and Vulcan had both destroyed the oceanic planet by their powers and rage. This was the price to pay, no doubt.
  34.
  35. What came next was the attacks from his sharpened fists, the claw with enough power to rip through mountains. Enough evil energy to slice and destroy souls. Just what he needed to completely vanquish and destroy Crow. What seemed like infinite barrages of attacks flew forth towards Crow's chest and body.
  36.
  37. The first made contact as he coughed blood and felt bones shatter like a sledge hammer to a small glass sphere. Organs were torn open like paper to a shredder... His soul was sliced open like a hot knife to butter. Effortlessly.
  38.
  39. He fell to the floor with his eyes closing shut, nothing could be seen from the lifeless and now soulless entity. He was nothing more than a husk destroyed and warped by the power of the Satsui now...
  40.
  41. And as his body began to fall and his blood spilled like a waterfall into a deep pond, he would think one final thought...
  42.
  43. "I..... failed......."*
  44. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45. Crow says: Did I.... Do... the right.... things...?
  46. Crow says: I lost everything..... t-three times.... And I can't even... c-come back.... a-after.... t-this............ W-What.... a..... cruel........... wo-world.....
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48. *Gubang watched the bitter duel from afar. Blade versus fist, Boss versus Subordinate. It seemed unreal how far Jackie had come in terms of power, but also how mcuh he lost. The entire situation seemed like something out of his wildest dreams. One minute he was drifting in space looking to cool off, the next he's watching a battle to the death between two of his allies.
  49.
  50. Then came the bloodshed...
  51.
  52. Jackie had unleashed a barrage of beatings, each one more brutal than the last. His vision began to blur as blood shot into his eye. Soon everything became as dark as space itself. And the only thing that shone through? The red symbol for heaven onto Jackie's back, and even that would burn away soon enough.
  53.
  54. "Did we lose another one? Are we gonna lose each other too?"
  55.
  56. The dark void that Gubang had been floating in soon began to light up all kinds of whites, blues, yellows, and reds! Suddenly everything wasn't so cold and ominous anymore. He was back in- "Max Soul~, standin' by sir!" his ship. "I think, I think I'll go back to the others. I can't just keep floatin' and mopin'!" Even if Silfer lost one family member they still had each other. "Let's go home, Soul!"
  57.
  58. The ship shot off towards Silfer. They had to be fine, they just had to be!*
  59. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  60. *Veron || With each slash Crow made onto Jackie, Veron's hopes were raised. Every single time that Crow lifted his sword, Veron was sure that the man would pull out as the victor. With each strike, the Slifer gazed into the eyes of victory for his colony. He was ready to mourn the death of Jackie, and move on to a different chapter of his life. He was prepared.
  61.
  62. That's what he thought. He assured himself that he was ready for whatever would be thrown at them. He was positive that Crow would survive, like he always did, and come hope with his cocky smile. But, when Jackie started to push the fight back? When the DemiGod grew too strong, too wild? Too unstable? When the rage within him combined with his insatiable lust for victory?
  63.
  64. That was the end of Crow.
  65.
  66. The Slifer watched helplessly as he was met with the same chapter from the story from his life, reading it like pages out of a book. 'And, now, the hero must watch as his friend is beat to death.'; 'And, now, the hero must watch as his mentor is beaten to death.'; 'And, now, the hero must watch as one of the people closest to him must die.'
  67.
  68. The man who died for his weakness. Died because of his helplessness. Because of his inability.
  69.
  70. It broke Veron's heart. It crippled his mind. The man who felt unstoppable fell to his knees, looking upon his teacher as the man was decimated. With each fist thrown by Jackie, he knew that Crow wouldn't get up. With each crunch of bone breaking, Veron knew that Crow wouldn't stand again. With every sickening snap.. Veron knew that this was Crow's end.
  71.
  72. The Slifer's eyes closed, his head bowing to his Don, to the head of his family. He bowed his head for the pain inside of his heart. His shoulders shook with pain from the sounds of Crow's dying rasps.
  73.
  74. Crow>"I..... failed........"
  75. "I did too, Crow.."
  76. Crow>"Did I.... Do... the right.... things...?"
  77. "You did alright by me, Crow. I'll never forget you, sir.."
  78. Crow>"I lost everything..... t-three times.... And I can't even... c-come back.... a-after.... t-this............ W-What.... a..... cruel........... wo-world....."
  79. "I'm sorry, Crow.. I'm sorry that I couldn't help you.. I'm sorry that we couldn't help you.. I'm s-sorry.."
  80.
  81. Fighting until the very last moment he could, the loyal Slifer slowly began to cry. His tears trailed from his cheeks, reaching the ground, meeting the endless sand. His shoulders shook from his sobs, the pain in his heart nearly too much for him to bear. With tears trailing from his eyes, the water beginning to blur his vision, Veron looked back to his mentor.
  82.
  83. "Your death will not be in vain, Crow.."*
  84. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  85. *Emily Landoria watched as Crow initially had the upper hand...the leader of Slifer was a seasoned warrior, and of equal strength to Obelisk's Vulcan. She figured that this strange duel, that she somehow was observing, would end in Crow's favor. But...Jackie's fearsome fighting style was unrelenting, unstopable. It was almost akin to Jackie becoming a raging demon, able to destroy all in their path for the sake of victory. And as that final attack was prepared...
  86.
  87. Those three words would bore into her mind. She would not forget them, even as her mind -forced- her to look away to avoid witnessing the utter horror of the Shun Goku Satsu. Her mind was not ready to witness such a attack in its perfection be executed upon someone. Only after the horrific attack's name stopped being uttered by Jackie did she finally look, eyes opened in fear and shock
  88.
  89. She disagreed with a number of Crow's actions, but after being told the truth, knew he was acting to protect his friends...his family, which was all of Slifer.
  90.
  91. "No...impossible..."
  92.
  93. She could only mumble. Despite disagreeing with Crow at times...she respected him...a rarity in the Neo-Nebula. If this was reality, this fight in this place...then a man dedicated to his family was lost, and without him...Slifer's fate, and of those that called it home, was now unclear. She could only hope this was some sort of trick in the end, but part of her knew...that this had happened, and could not be stopped.*
  94. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  95. *Nerina Cartel merely watched helplessly as the two did battle. Jackie's new abilities were... overwhelming and infuriating. How could someone so misguided obtain such power? She had hoped, futile as it may have been, that Crow would manage to win through some means, any means. Nerina truly wished for him to survive, but it wasn't going to happen. Maybe a small bit of her knew this, or maybe it was simply obvious.
  96.
  97. "No..."
  98.
  99. Whereever she truly was physically, she was shaking visibly. She didn't want to see this, to see Crow die horribly to someone who gave into such evil power. As the man's bloody body began to fall to the ground whereever they were, her eyes opened wide, tears forming in their corners. She screamed out, though likely unheard, as Crow perished...
  100.
  101. "NOOOOOOOOOO!"
  102.
  103. Nerina's last thread tying her to Slifer and possibly sanity itself, had been severed. Her mind drifted towards something worse. Something that drove Jackie, something that would now drive her, but there was a difference in what they'd each think of the situation. Jackie wanted his vengeance for a loved one, Nerina wanted to remove the situation entirely. She didn't want this to happen anymore.
  104.
  105. Nerina only wanted to end it.
  106.
  107. Tears streamed down her face as she turned her attention to the vision of Jackie. Her expression turned to one of sheer anger and sorrow as she gazed upon the one who had done so much to detriment her and Slifer. Even as the visions began to fade and she lost connection with the scene, she spoke towards Jackie in a low tone, even if he couldn't hear her.
  108.
  109. "I'll never forgive you... I'll give my body and my soul to stop this... to end this madness."
  110.
  111. Nerina's biological heritage was now forfeit.*
  112. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  113. *Bi | Ito Crin || No amount of hate could fill Ito's heart as he watched the battle between Jackie and Crow, there was only sorrow. This reminder of the futility of it all, of how weak all of us truly were in the end. In the Neo Nebula where each warrior constantly evolved, there was no such thing as being on top of the food chain. It was all a matter of time before you fell.
  114.
  115. A tragic loss of time, Crow's wasted energy, it all seemed so pointless in the face of the dark Satsui force, that incredible power which surpassed even the Retriever in might. It was something that drove and inspired the 'King'. He watched it mesmerized, and well aware of just how different things had become.
  116.
  117. In the beginning the hate bewteen colonies felt like a game, something trivial that wasn't to be focused on. To be thought on in times of stress, when the economy dropped, when the women and children were hungry-- Oh, but that was every day.
  118.
  119. Every day of their lives in Slifer their people suffered, fought for survival day in and day out... Because of Obelisk. Then one of their own, someone born of the same blood they were betrayed them.
  120.
  121. His sadness, his sorrow, his despair at Jackie's transformation. It became a rage. He became enraged.
  122.
  123. This was his fault, he caused this, people like him who allowed Obelisk to stand as some beacon of 'light' when they were likely the most deceitful in the Nebula. They caused all the blights. Everything spawned from their dictatorship hundreds of years before. If it weren't for their kind, Dharien's bloodline and his father's... Perhaps the torture felt in Slifer for generations would have never existed.
  124.
  125. They were a simple mining colony... How did the become the Haven for criminals and home for the meek and poor... How?
  126.
  127. This was unforgivable.
  128.
  129. Slifer would meet its end under this circumstances.*
  130. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  131. *Crow 's entire life had been one of tragedy and loss. It was something any other person might have given up and died for. Crow never gave up, he always continued to find a new way to progress on this path of destruction and depression he lived on. Not once did he ever consider giving into the void inside of him that continued to grow and never stop. It defined him, it made him smile at times that there might be a better ending to his story. That he could one day rebuild what he lost, and grow to be a better person from it.
  132.
  133. Crow never considered the whole might grow big enough to encompass his life and end him there, he never thought what he was doing might hurt someone or cause them to try and end him for their pain. He had always been on the receiving end of that spectrum. Never the start.
  134.
  135. His words uttered from his mouth, as did blood. A broken soul and a broken heart. A beaten body and a destroyed dream of things ever getting better.
  136.
  137. Those of Slifer, who came to love him and admire him for just who he was and what he cared for... They would feel the most loss, almost as much as he had.
  138.
  139. || https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEWF2xh5E8s ||
  140.
  141. Crow hit the floor behind him, his body drenched in his own blood. His swords were both in his hands as his bladed aura fizzled out. Onto the sand poured his red vitality, nothing left of the small bird who dreamed big.
  142.
  143. He would look over to the side, noticing those who were present as he faded into the next world. His oblivion and eternal rest.. Would grant him this last wish...
  144.
  145. Nerina crying, Veron looking down hiding his face and streaming tears as well... Who wanted to see this? Who wanted their story to end like this? With the best of their world crying in his loss...
  146.
  147. He prayed they could hear him, in his last wish this was all he could've ever wanted. For them to remember him for the man he was.. Someone who lived by their heart and was never tainted by the cruel past from behind, only molded by it. Perfected by it.
  148.
  149. A hand was reached towards Veron as he spoke in a tone that would possibly not even be heard.
  150.
  151. "I want you.... to never give up.... Always hold your head up... And swing true... Veron... Pupil... Friend.... In l-life and... death..."
  152.
  153. He turned his face to see Nerina as a light began to crowd his vision and halt his movements. A hand was reached towards her. All he wanted was to hold her there and comfort her, telling her it'd all be fine and over.
  154.
  155. "P-Please... don't cry for me..... I don't want to... go out like this..... Always remember... who I was... And the promises I made.... I l-lov.........."
  156.
  157. His hand would go limp, as his eyes closed softly. Slowly. Putting an end to the life he lived, and the life he might have followed. It was over... Forever.*
  158. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  159. *Jackie had won. He had succeeded. He gave in to his Rage and gave up his will. He gave up his innocence. He gave up his very soul. But in the end, he had won, and killed the one who had caused him so much suffering.
  160.
  161. And now, with his hatred quenched... Jackie felt empty.
  162. His psychotic grin slowly faded, his expression fading into nothingness. There was no joy in winning. There was no happiness in this victory. Only emptiness.
  163. And he knew it would be like that. From the very beggining, from the moment he let the Wrath take hold of his heart and soul, he knew it'd end with him standing, alone and with Void replacing his hate.
  164.
  165. Jackie's arms lowered and hung limp at his sides, the lightning, the flames and the blood fading away. The boy's eyes flicked, the innocent emerald color returning to him.
  166. What had he become?
  167. Not too long ago, he was a cheerful teen, living his life in happiness with his friends, his most worrisome care in the world being if he had enough bubblegum. An image flashed in his mind, that of him grinning like a dumbass, laughing along with the rest of the Family.
  168.
  169. Now here he was. A monster. Covered in blood, hated by everyone. Even if he didn't see their eyes, he could feel it already. He had been consumed by the Poison of hate and revenge. His loss, instead of learning from it and choosing to protect, turned him into a Demon.
  170. It was a poison that laid dormant in the heart of every being, and once awakened, it couldn't be stopped. Once unleashed, it couldn't be calmed.
  171.
  172. Jackie fell to his knees, his head hanging low.
  173. He lost everything. Not to Crow, not to the Retriever, not to the Phantasms.
  174. The boy had lost everything to his rage.
  175.
  176. And before this parallel dimension faded from everyone's vision, the teen would close his eyes, his skin becoming pale. His life had been claimed by the poison of revenge.*
  177. Jackie is knocked out by low health!!
  178. Jackie looks exhausted!
  179. Jackie is barely standing up!
  180. Jackie was just killed by being poisoned!!
