Meimei Birthday

Maisen University got together for a special mission. It was Meimei's birthday and the other four members took her out to eat. After much deliberation of how to celebrate Meimei's big day they can to the decision of taking her out for something unique to her own culture and then celebrating a more westernised birthday when they got home. Normally instead of cake Meimei would celebrate with longevity noodles; long noodles that can't be slurped up in one go. Fortunately there was a restaurant nearby that could handle such an order and they booked a table.

 

Meimei let her hair down for the event and wrapped herself up in a cardigan to fend off the Autumn chill and blushed at all the compliments about her cute outfit and how pretty she looked when she let her hair loose. She was having fun until Tsubame leaned over to pull her ears 'Is tradition in old country must keep pulling for each year you be on Earth.' Tsubame smirked 'С днём рождения!'

 

'Yow!' Meimei squealed 'Not so rough!'

 

'Must wish good friend long life.' Tsubame giggled 'Oh that reminds me you have dream last night? Dreams on eve of important day prophetic.'

 

'I kind of wished my dreams warned me about you.' Meimei pushed Tsubame away 'You didn't turn my ears red did you?'

 

'Dude, what's with the ear thing?' Yoshimitsu scoffed 'You Ruskies are weirdos.'

 

'Tradition is important' Tsubame argued 'Is culture.'

 

'Better dead than red... ears.' Yoshimitsu rolled her eyes.

 

The "red-ears" part made Meimei self-conscious and she covered her earlobes with her hands. 'They're not really red are they?'

 

'You look great.' Ageha reassured her friend and pushed a red envelope across the table. The group had no idea what to get Meimei, she had a love of classical Chinese literature and recited lines from her favourite novels constantly but she had every book she could possibly want already. Fortunately there was a Chinese tradition that made it easy to just gift money, the Hóngbāo. 'Feliz cumpleaños!' Ageha cheered.

 

With her limited grasp of Japanese, and a significant language barrier with everyone but Yoshimitsu, Matsuri took out her envelope too thinking it was time for presents.

 

'Ageha!' Tsubame barked and pushed the envelope back towards Ageha. 'Is not time for gift or wishes yet! Bad luck to give them now!'

 

'Dios de mi vida!' Ageha retorted.

 

It looked as though the two would snap at each other and ruin the celebration but any potential argument was disrupted by the arrival of their food. The noodles were served up with chicken and broth and the thin noodles looked so impossibly long that no beginning nor end was visible. 'This is how I'd prefer you wish me a long, happy life.' Meimei smiled 'Now don't try to slurp them up in one go. You won't be able to.'

 

'Sounds like a dare.' Yoshimitsu grinned. She reached over to elbow Matsuri 'Team America! Let's go!' Yoshimitsu shovelled a huge ball of noodles into her mouth and sucked them up from the broth. Matsuri, confused about what was going on, raced to follow her team-mates example. They both slurped until they went red in the face and had to sever the noodles with a bite.

 

'I will show you how is done!' Tsubame pumped herself up and took her turn to try and swallow the noodles until she couldn't last any longer and had to slice the noodles. The short Russian could only take so much. 'Okay, is tougher than looks.'

 

Ageha took her turn and sensually trailed the noodles between her lips. Her face was flushed and the heat of the broth wafting up drew a bead of sweat that ran down and disappeared between her cleavage. She let forth a delightful moan that caught the attention of the surrounding tables and the staff before she finally relented and let the noodles slip free with a loud smack of her lips.

 

Ageha panted heavily, her chest heaving 'I couldn't take it all.' She lamented. All eyes were on Ageha as she popped open a button on her blouse and fanned her breasts. There were bright pink faces all around, except perhaps Meimei who was simply grateful for her friends efforts and laughed at how ridiculous each of them looked.

 

'Well you tried.' Meimei snorted 'Thank you everyone. Make sure you enjoy these noodles. I'd like a long and happy life.'
