  1. Dr. Sabri is very kind and warm-hearted.
  2.
  3. Positive points:
  4. - has no problem explaining the material over and over again till the students get it.
  5. - always welcomes questions from any one.
  6. - makes the students practice in-class.
  7.
  8. Negative points:
  9. - when he is explaining the material, he makes some assumptions without explaining them, which makes it hard for the student to follow up and leads them to just set on their phones until the lecture ends.
  10.
  11. - when he solves an example on the board, he writes in front of his body, which makes it hard for the students to even see what the instructor is writing (his body is covering up what he is writing). He should extend his hand so everyone can see what he is writing.
  12.
  13. - when he solves an example, it is like he is solving it for his own. sometimes he just solves it without explaining what he is actually doing.
  14.
  15. Note for the course: the course in its current form is overly theoretical. What is the point of spending time drawing graphs and connecting lines when I (a programmer) don't know how to apply these algorithms in code? The course must have programming assignments (maybe all assignments). More problems like programming challenges where you face a problem and asked to develop a code that runs in the least complexity should be given.
