Part 1:
•	It’s the 21st of November, 2021, and Mira is sound asleep in her mediocre little apartment on the outskirts of West Glasgow.
•	Mira has cryptic nightmare, set in “The Frozen Sea In Which Time Is Forbidden”. Her foot gets stuck in the “water” as a colossal black mass appears and stares at her. She’s woken up as it reaches for her.
•	She wakes up at 11am on a Monday, having critically overslept. She heads to work, but is told to stay home since they’re training a new-start that day. She gets breakfast, and then decides to pay a visit to her therapist, whom she knows is available today.
•	Mira takes the bus to the inner part of Glasgow. On the way there, her mother calls her and asks if she’ll be visiting for Christmas. Mira replies with a non-answer, as she’s not entirely sure.
•	Mira arrives at the nearest bus stop, and hears an announcement on the PA system about an incoming snow storm that will hit in about three hours. On the way to her destination, she runs into Lucy, her transgirl occasional drinking partner whom she met at a club a year ago. Lucy asks if Mira has any plans for Christmas day, but Mira once more replies with a non-answer.
•	Mira arrives at the therapist’s office. Abigail, a 50 something Scottish woman, takes her inside and listens to Mira’s description of her dreams. She pins it on disturbances with the world tree, and suggests it’ll be over soon.
•	The snow begins to fall, and bus routes are blocked. Mira must take the train. In the middle of the journey home, time somehow stops, but Mira isn’t affected. She takes her bag with her as she departs the train, to walk along the tracks home.
•	As she nears her home station, a razor sharp butterfly speeds through her both of her thighs and tears her femoral arteries. She collapses in agony, and attempts to look for who hurt her, but her search is slammed to a halt as a two mysterious women appear before her. The taller of the two lifts her up by the neck, and slams a serrated blade into her left eyeball. Mira goes limp, and is tossed aside by the women, who disappear before she’s even hit the ground.
•	As her consciousness fades, she hears the sound of an ambulance approaching.
