  1. Okay faggots, for the last couple of days I've been compiling a list of the most egregious shit IGDA and Femfreq have pulled. It's still not complete, and I plan to add a section with Josh's assorted Twitter imbecility, which is gonna take ages. But since people are starting to listen on Twitter, here's the preliminary list.

Tristin Edwards, who is also one of IGDA's two main staff members and former member of the steering committee of the WIG SIG group which helped create ggautoblocker, has openly targeted Gamergate as a whole, as well as spouted supported misandrist positions. She has since deleted every single tweet she made.

  75. Their descriptions of the games they criticize are full of cherry-picking, crass misinterpretations and plain falsehoods. In a particularly crass case, FF's video about Bayonetta from Februry 2010 was so full of factually wrong statements that it was removed. In June 2012 it was uploaded after being re-edited, taking it from 4:10 to 2:58 in length. The page in FF's website about the video does mention the edit, but of course, whitewashes the reason for the re-edit.

  86. The many factual inaccuracies and the theft of LP content both point towards what has become a common criticism of FF videos. The only two possiblities are that either the FF staff hasn't actually played the game at all, or played it and are willingly lying about it. Anita Sarkeesian often spouts her narrative of being a lifelong gamer, but footage from a lecture she delivered at Santa Monica College 2010, she openly admits that she "isn't a fan of videogames" and "actually had to do research", and "I would love to play video games but I don’t want to go around shooting people and ripping off their heads and it’s just gross" is nothing if not a statement that she's barely involved with the subject she claims to be a cultural critic of. The issue isn't whether she's a "real gamer" or not, but that she's criticizing cultural products she hasn't even consumed. It's exactly like judging a book by its cover.
