  11. What languages (other than English) do you know, and to what level [Optional]?: I can understand broken Spanish. I have taken Spanish in school for four years at an honors level, so if there is a question in spanish with no one on else on who speaks the language fluently, I would be able to take care of it.

  21. How much time per day are you willing to assist in the moderation of our platforms? During the weekdays I am usually able to get on the server at least three hours per day, and on weekends I am usually on the server for four to six hours per day. Whenever I would be on the server or in TeamSpeak I would be willing to assist in any way possible.
  22.
  23. How long have you been playing Minecraft? I have been playing Minecraft since December of 2012.
  24.
  25. How long have you been a member of the MCGamer community? I have been a part of the MCGamer community since November of 2013.
  26.
  27. Are you involved with any clans, or have been in the past? If so, please list them here: Yes, I have been apart of several clans. I was in the clan Infect for about one month in July 2014. Then in September of 2014 I joined the clan Vortex for probably 5 days. I then did not join another clan until Vortex v2 was created, in which I was a member for about 2 weeks in April of 2015 until it disbanded. In June of 2015 I joined the clan Ancient for only one day, I then left that clan because they were very disrespectful towards other players. The final clan I have been in is Vex, which I was in for about a week until I realized that clan was very rude and disrespectful as well. I am currently not in a clan, but I have applied to the clan Sync, so by the time this is being read I may be either a trial member or member in Sync.
  28.
  29. Do you have any bans on our servers? (If so, explain. If you have had a successful ban dispute, please provide a link): No, I have not been banned on the MCGamer network before.
  30.
  31. Have you filed any Report Abuses on our system? If so, please provide a link to the most recent closed Report Abuses that you have filed. (Maximum of ten, please) I have not created any reports, and that is because I really have not seen any chat offenses on the server. However, if I ever do see any players say something in the chat that is inappropriate and/or offensive, I always tell them to watch their language or to be respectful. Nine times out of ten, they realize their mistake and stop.
  32.
  33. Have you been a member of another community’s staff, or have relevant work experience? If so, please describe your experience. (Be sure to include your position, server name, length of time served, and a link to the community’s website if available): I have been staff on another server and have relevant work experience. Starting with being staff on another server, I was a moderator on a server called ProMcGames (http://forum.promcgames.com/) for about 3 months. In that time span I uploaded about 40-50 hackers, and kicked around 300 players for inappropriate and/or offensive comments. I ended up resigning because I had too many personal issues at the time that stopped my ability to be on the computer, and I had to spend more time with family. My work experience is very relevant to being a moderator because I was a counselor in training at a summer camp for the duration of the 2014 summer. During that time I was basically in charge of 25 kids who were 8 years old. At the end of the summer I received the award for CIT of the summer, an award I am very proud of, and I feel like the experience from being in charge of children can help me in moderation. My job this year can also contribute to being a moderator. This summer I am working at a basketball clinic helping children from the ages of 4-16 improve their basketball skills. I feel this can also help me because I am once again supervising children/teenagers again, and moderating is very similar to that just in a virtual aspect.

  37. In each scenario, assume that you are in a Moderator position. Briefly explain to the best of your abilities how you would respond to each situation.
  38.
  39. You are playing a game and you see a player whose actions seem suspiciously like hacking. However, you are not quite certain. What do you do? Firstly I would kill myself in game. Then I would spectate and record the player for the duration of the game, and see if there is anything suspicious when I review the recording. Finally, if there is something suspicious, I would upload it, ask fellow moderators if they think that player is hacking, and ban the player.
  40.
  41. A player on the forums publicly accuses you of abusing your powers. They claim to have proof, and are demanding that you be fired. What do you do? I would ask them to create a forum post in the Report Abuse section. After the report is made, I would link the post in the moderation chat and tell everyone that there has been a report on me, I would ask for their opinions, and see if they believe the report is valid or not. Depending on the result, I would understand and accept the consequences of whatever happens.
  42.
  43. Two players on our TeamSpeak are verbally fighting in a public channel with 5 other people, and things are getting out of hand. What do you do? The first thing I would do would join the channel and tell them to stop arguing, or else there will be consequences. If they continue, I would kick both players from the TeamSpeak. Then I would talk to the other players in the public channel about what started the argument and why it escalated so much. If the other players that were arguing came back on and started being offensive in a public channel, I would ban them off of the TeamSpeak for one day.
  44.
  45. You are watching the newest video of your favorite MCSG streamer, who happens to be a VIP on the MCGamer network. Suddenly, you realize the streamer is using a hacked client during their games of MCSG. What do you do? I would take a screenshot of the stream so I have proof of the person using a hacked client, then I would put the stream link in the moderation chat, and ask if I am able to ban the user. After I get permission, I would join whatever server he was in, and ban him for a hacked client.
  46.
  47. A player is in the hub, incessantly spamming an annoying phrase over and over again. How would you handle this player, and what punishments would you use if they persistently spammed? Assume that the player continues to spam after each successive punishment. If it is just an annoying message, and not anything offensive/advertising, I would warn originally. After the warning I would kick the player for spamming. The final punishment I would do is mute him for 1 hour for spamming, if he for some reason is still spamming after the one hour, I would mute for one day.

  51. Why do you want to be a moderator on the MCGamer Network? I want to be a moderator on the MCGamer Network because I want to make the server as friendly and helpful as possible for any player, old and new. I would be honored to be a part of a staff team that cares about people in the community. When you compare the MCGamer staff to anyone other server's staff, they don't even compare, MCGamer staff clearly is a player-based staff team, as in they are always doing whatever they can to make players happier instead of focusing on themselves. A great example of this is all of the new map updates. With so many new maps being added and the removal of many maps people don't play anymore, it is keeping players interested and excited for the arrival of new maps when they are implemented on the all of the different servers. Another reason is that i have been in the community for an incredibly long time. being a part of this server for almost two years, it has been incredible to see the staff, players, and community grow. Being in this community so long I feel that I should be giving back, and I would love to give back by being a moderator.
  52.
  53. Why do you believe you are qualified to be a moderator on the MCGamer Network? I believe I am qualified because of my experience of moderator other servers and dealing with similar situations in work environments. As stated above, I have been staff on previous servers, so I do have experience dealing with players on the server and in TeamSpeak. I really do feel that experience comes a long way in moderation, especially on a server the size of MCGamer. I am also extremely.patient, because I understand the struggle that it can be to deal with some players that are being vague or can't understand something simple. I have learned to be very patient. Another, similar skill that would set me apart from another applicant is my ability to handle and calm down situations. During the summer of 2014, one of the most important lessons I learned was to handle situations calm and collectively. I feel this is a skill that can be used well as a staff member, because I know sometimes arguments can get heated, and it is always good to be able to solve problems quickly and without arguments.
  54.
  55. Have you attended any MCGamer Events before? If so, describe your experience with each. Yes, I always try to join open mic nights, but unfortunately I have not made any too recently. However, when I used to attend I always had a great time and thought the event ran smoothly and efficiently. Another event that I participate in are the annual MCGamer awards. I have been participating in those events since the third MCGamer Awards, and that event is always fun to particpate in, and vote in each category.
  56.
  57. How would you like to see the MCGamer community improve?
  58.
  59. What are 3 qualities you have that you feel you could be improved upon?
  60.
  61. If you were given the chance to be a moderator, what would your top three goals be?
  62.

  65. I, Anthony/Favors, accept the responsibilities by donating my own time by watching over the MCG Community and agree that any mistake or action not approved by the administration could result in a demotion, permanent ban from the network, or removal from the website. I also agree that by donating my time I am not entitled to compensation of any form nor am I to expect promotion.
