  5. This bill is called: WEST AFRICA AMPS (or WEST AFRICA 2.0 with its revamp ideas)

  26.  A few West African nations are ravaged by Ebola-chan. Instead of shunning away from the problem, why not compromise and work together as a senate to improve on the situation.

  28. 1)Purchase West African resources to fund the senate and its projects at reduced costs (based on fear of the virus). Use ships to export the resources while shipping in medical goods and aid to afflicted nations.
  29. 2)Permission to establish a senate body consisting of the top 10 parties for each session to lead the West African projects for trade and growth.
  30. 3)Allowance of senate to help fund various projects to repair and improve the region in any way approved by the senate in the forwardpast. forwardpast projects would have to undergo same voting as all other bills, but it would be more direct in West African affairs.
  31. 4)For quarantine measures, the ships returning from Africa would self-quarantine themselves via 6 weeks of water travel. If the disease breaks out on the ship, it would alert the port of entry to prepare to clean the vessel and isolate the people. The 6 week window would allow the disease to not survive without becoming noticed on board. Further measures can be applied, but this would be the preliminary measure taken for the project.
  32. 5)Aid would be distributed based on senate body agreements, and aid can range from experimental medicine (safely tested of course) to simple Band-Aids. The senate body would be in charge of determining this and voting on these goods.
  33. 6)All profits or economical achievements from the region would go to three pots. (a) To help fund the senate itself. (b) To help reinvest it in Africa and projects there. (c) To help promote the medical and economical systems of the senate in its endeavors.
  34. 7)Promotes growth at home to create medical goods and improved ports while helping in a conflicted situation.
  35. 8)Allowance of new political structures over time as senate groups come to agreements in nations with unstable governments afflicted by the virus itself, and the ability to use those resources in the senate as need be.

  39. In terms of the senate, why propose this?

  41. So far, all the proposals and bills have been on self regulating the senate and giving us titles or economic ideas. None have any kind of global base and political stance in world affairs. A bill like this would allow us as a senate to try and solve a problem abroad as a cooperative unit, either religiously, economically, or politically.
