  4. [18:22] <Luthius> i pushed a patch to fix some / add somethings to it but it sounds like some of my stuff didnt make it live into the server, or is acting funny
  5. [18:23] <Boxx> yeah definitely.  maybe half of the time when provoking a spellcasting mob it continues to attack the player that provoked it rather than its target

  7. [18:23] <Luthius> was the creature casting a spell during the provocation?
  8. [18:23] <Boxx> i've heard this and seen it on multiple occasions
  9. [18:23] <Boxx> yeah i mean don't the mobs pretty much spam spells from range?
  10. [18:24] <Boxx> im not exactly sure how the AI works, but that's how it seems to at least from years of playing

  14. [18:24] <Luthius> so things work a little different

  25. [18:26] <Boxx> also i think the retreating behavior breaks provo on anything
  26. [18:26] <Boxx> even if it's melee
  27. [18:26] <Luthius> that could be true; i dont recall if i put a restriction on fleeing with provoke / peacemaking

  29. [18:27] <Luthius> im still not sure whats going up with dragons and higher stuff; when i test this stuff locally, it seems to work fine :P

  33. [18:27] <Boxx> last night they didnt use breath attacks at all
  34. [18:28] <Luthius> weird. i dont think we changed the code on them at all
