- [18:22] <Luthius> i pushed a patch to fix some / add somethings to it but it sounds like some of my stuff didnt make it live into the server, or is acting funny
- [18:23] <Boxx> yeah definitely. maybe half of the time when provoking a spellcasting mob it continues to attack the player that provoked it rather than its target

- [18:23] <Luthius> was the creature casting a spell during the provocation?
- [18:23] <Boxx> i've heard this and seen it on multiple occasions
- [18:23] <Boxx> yeah i mean don't the mobs pretty much spam spells from range?
- [18:24] <Boxx> im not exactly sure how the AI works, but that's how it seems to at least from years of playing
- [18:24] <Luthius> well im just wondering what types of creatures this is happening with and the circumstances
- [18:24] <Luthius> because i completely rewrote the ai
- [18:24] <Luthius> for everything
- [18:24] <Luthius> so things work a little different
- [18:24] <Boxx> terathans and dragons definitely
- [18:25] <Luthius> the higher level terathans?

- [18:25] <Luthius> and dragons during breath attack or just any time?
- [18:25] <Boxx> im pretty sure it happens all the time

- [18:26] <Boxx> also i think the retreating behavior breaks provo on anything
- [18:26] <Boxx> even if it's melee
- [18:26] <Luthius> that could be true; i dont recall if i put a restriction on fleeing with provoke / peacemaking

- [18:27] <Luthius> im still not sure whats going up with dragons and higher stuff; when i test this stuff locally, it seems to work fine :P

- [18:27] <Boxx> last night they didnt use breath attacks at all
- [18:28] <Luthius> weird. i dont think we changed the code on them at all
