  2. Okay, guys. My dad is SERIOUSLY pissing me off...He thinks Linux and other open source projects aren't free
  3. I believe he is talking about in price
  4. AND he believes no one uses it (he asked for specific examples, esp. in the US including US govt. and schools)

  6. Can anyone help me out with this list (give me more examples with links, etc) or give me stuff to convince my dad otherwise (that Linux and open source IS really free)?
  7. And yes, I know that open source doesn't mean free...But he knows NOTHING about technology, so it's all the same to him
  8. He really doesn't care and he doesn't change his mind very much, but I still would like to convince him otherwise...
