How do I play MK8 with you guys?
- Go online, then Tournaments and search using a code. People mostly play in the main MK8 room, teams and others need to be recruited for via the thread.

I keep getting empty lobbies!
- If this isn't your first time playing with /v/, you should connect to the tournament via recent players or friends. Both can be found under the "Friends and Rivals" tab. If not, just keep entering the tournament until you get into a lobby. We have some dead hours during weekdays, but outside of those, people play a lot.

How do I take screenshots?
- Go to Mario Kart TV and view a highlight. When you find a good moment, press the Home button and go to the Internet Browser. Then you can post the screenshot directly to 4chan.
- If you dislike uploading screens straight to 4chan, you can use a program for the PC called UsendMii. You can find the download and general information on how to use it here: http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/UsendMii

What is the best build for my favorite character?

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that acceleration only works in whole numbers. For example, if you come up with a build that has 3.75 acceleration, it rounds down to 3.

How do I git gud?
- Watch some WR Time Trials to find out the most ideal paths and see all the shortcuts. Softdrifting is pretty vital to get all those sweet red boosts, so you should learn that. Don't just spam ZL whenever you get an item, think a bit and wait to see what other racers get. Crazy 8 item, however, is safer to spam away if there are a lot racers really close to you - if not, you should think which item to use and where. It's up to you if you want to learn firehopping or not. In the end, RNG matters a lot in MK8 so even if you're decent, you will get fucked by items.

What is this DLC people are talking about?
- There are two DLCs coming for MK8. First one releases in November, another in May. Both DLCs include 3 additional racers, 8 tracks and 4 vehicles. You can pre-order them individually, or in a bundle. If you get both of the DLCs, you'll receive 8 recolors for Yoshi and Shy Guy right after your purchase.

How do I get the DLC bundle so I can play on the recolored hahas and heihos?
- Firstly, go to Nintendo eShop and look for Mario Kart 8. Yes, just the game itself. There's a button "View Add-On Content" on the page and upon clicking it, you'll see all of the offers, including the free Mercedes DLC. After you've purchased the bundle, start MK8 via the main menu and it'll automatically patch your game. The patch won't download if you start the game via quick start. Enjoy your recolors!

What's this Miiverse thing?
