A Guide to Pokemon of the Week Writing for SmogonU's Facebook Page

1) If you'd like to write a Pokemon of the Week, run it by Tennisace, Antemortem or Krauersaut prior to beginning. It would suck to write this page-long masterpiece and be told that that Pokemon has already been done, or that nobody plays that metagame or wants to read about it either.

2) Avoid Other Metagames (with the occasional exception of PU), as they simply lack the PR attraction to warrant posting. Little Cup fits into a similar vein - if you must write about it, be sure to talk about a popular, meta-shaping Pokemon to help bolster attention and likes, else Little Cup will be removed as well.

3) If at all possible, run it by the GP team prior to handing it over. This gets you nice points with Krauersaut, who otherwise GP's them by himself. Nice points with Krauersaut make Krauersaut feel good.

4) COMMIT! If you sign up for writing a PotW and fail to complete it by the deadline, you'll be blacklisted from writing any other articles for the Facebook page. Period. Obviously there will be individual circumstances, but if at all possible, follow through.

5) DO NOT BOTHER ME ABOUT PIXELS PLEASE AND THANK YOU. Badges are based on activity, quality and quantity of PotWs, and Krauersaut keeps track of who has written what. He probably knows what you've written more than you, because like farming badge nominations is gr8.

6) Do not badgewhore. If you write 10 PotWs, you don't get the badge until they've been posted, which is a MINUMUM of 2 1/2 months. It's much easier to just write them on a weekly basis as you feel like it.

7) Send your finished products to Krauersaut and/or Tennisace via Smogon PM or VM.
