Probably Trump will use all this as an excuse to hold the press even further away: moving both press room and conferences out of the White House proper into the adjacent Executive Office Building, assigning seating at press conferences by random selection, admitting alternate media into the press conferences on a rotating basis, publishing a clear code of conduct for questioners (no trolling, no name calling, no shouting, no gutter language, etc).  I have also believed all along that Trump would use the Internet in some decisive way to push for key goals, and is only biding his time,  keeping his powder dry.

I must say the MSM is playing right into his hands.  Glenn Greenwald of "theintercept.com" gave an interview on Fox saying essentially the same thing.  All this furore about Trump's sex habits, his bromance with Putin, or his misogyny, is turning a lot of people off and is distracting from the important goal of opposing Trump's policies with calm and rational argument.  Especially since so many of these wild allegations have gained no traction.  It just lowers the press even further in the eyes of the average American.

As for Conway the New York Post reports that she has been assigned Secret Service protection as a result of death threats against her and her children; and the Washington Post reports "Conway will refocus on health care and issues related to veterans — and is expecting to spend less time on TV".  Of course that just means she now has a perfect excuse to pick and choose who she will accept an interview from.
