> add lines. the curved connector tool is the easiest way to connect characters on the same row ftr
> add comments. pick the arrow in the toolbar so you've switched to edit mode, then right click the ship line you want to add a comment to
> if you add a comment maybe also give the line a color (the bright ones up top are best imo, we aren't doing a color code that's too much work just like pick a color) and change it to 2px just to help it stand out we all know where to go for snarky commentary. the options for that are up top in the toolbar
> you can click the comments as they appear on the right (you have to be zoomed out enough to see the whole drawing) and it'll highlight the line it belongs to in gold. you can do this from the comments panel clickable in the top right too
> the easiest way to view this imo is to go view -> fit to screen, and zoom in on specific stuff from there, or click lines from the fit to screen view
> don't resolve comments! it makes them disappear. they can be reopened from the comments panel though you just gotta find them
> if you break it i can reset it to a previous version if you can't ctrl + z your way out of it so have no fear
