  1. The biggest thing that I think will impact my self-esteem in the future would be my future goal to become financially independent. This goal really comes from many books I have read that my dad directed me towards and they really inspired me to have this as one of my few future goals. What this goal basically is, is that by the time I am 19 years old I would like to be financially independent and moved out of my parents house. This will impact my self esteem in a number of ways I will talk about in the following paragraphs. This will impact my self esteem in a positive and or negative way in all 3 of the health triangle, physical, social, emotional.
  2.
  3. The first way this could potentially impact my self esteem in the future is physically. I think that physically you are not impacted very much by a goal but there are a few ways. The first way I could be impacted by this goal physically would be having a more healthy life style. I think the more someone works towards a goal and the harder the work the better they feel about themselves and the better condition they keep themselves in. I feel if I am working towards a goal I will feel better and keep myself healthier. Another way would be I would be working more often and physical work keeps you in shape so that would be physical also.

  5. The second way this could impact my self esteem is socially. I think socially it would make me more confident if I reached my goal in the future. I also think it would boost my self esteem in a way that could make me more social than I currently am by giving me a boost of confidence like I said before and make me more open to interacting with others. I cannot really thing of any other ways that it would impact me socially.
  6.
  7. The third way it would impact me would be emotionally. I feel if I didn’t reach my goal I would feel a loss of self esteem and would make me emotionally saddened. But I feel if I did reach my goal it would make me feel really good about my self and emotionally stable. I am not a very emotional person so I don’t know any other ways it could / would impact me if I succeeded / failed in this goal.

  9. The last thing is how it could impact my self esteem. If I succeeded in doing this goal I would feel more confident and think I could do so much more, and potentially do a lot more. If I do not succeed I would feel as If I failed and maybe not try to do as ambitious goals in the future. Another thing that I left out would be how I would be seen by others, I would be seen as a failure possibly or think I was seen as one and be ashamed which would impact my self esteem in a very negative way.
