“Gleam”

So conceding that “Gleam” has a pretty emo riff, I whipped up some sappy love bs. I tried to avoid being too generic but at the same time I wanted everything to be relatable. Accomplishing this is like threading a needle and I am definitely ok with having some rewrites, especially with verse two.

The lyrics are about the narrator noticing a girl at a party. He has talked with her several times but he  can’t bring himself to talk to her in a party setting for whatever reason. I get a bit existentialist with the chorus but I tried to hold it down so it wasn't too zany. I'm not sure if the narrator is talking to himself or somebody else either.

I really like the bridge it's super fun to sing over the guitar.
