  1. [20:27] <@Ghostwheel> The dismal Seattle sky makes no appearance today, leaving only sunlight and a cool October breeze in the air. You find yourself on a golf course of a country club in a Bellvue section of the Sprawl that has enough forested land around it so as to give the carefully cultivated feeling of rurality. Your fixer hooked you up with a job offer at Glendale Country Club with one Thomas Duke- the guy...
  2. [20:27] <@Ghostwheel> ...evidently used his real name.
  3. [20:27] <@Ghostwheel> He stands out here with you, a tall blonde man in a stylish but unpretentious blue suit. The cut of the suit speaks of a man who stays in shape, and his smooth baritone voice says management more than a power tie ever could. He is followed closely by a skinny ginger kid caddy struggling under the weight of his clubs.
  4. [20:27] <@Ghostwheel> "Good day, gentlemen" Duke greets you as you approach "care to play a round?"
  5. 01[20:30] <Auberon> "I personally would be worthless as an opponent, Mr. Joh- uh, Duke. Sorry."
  6. [20:31] <Trocaire> "Personally, I'm shite at the game, but I wouldn't mind a round if you didn't."
  7. 06[20:31] * Auberon nearly looks the part of the Sunday golfer. No suit jacket to meet with the employer this time, just a nice polo and a pair of smart slacks.
  8. 06[20:31] * Trocaire nods politely, smiling.
  9. 06[20:34] * Dr-Mercury adjust his black suit with blue tie and runs a hand through his chestnut hair "I'm all for taking it easy but I always prefer business before anything."
  10. 06[20:34] * Loxley is wearing wearing his jacket. "I don't think I've had the pleasure of trying the game, thus I do not have any clubs of my own."
  11. 06[20:35] * Trocaire smiles at the group, directing it to Thomas. "Not much time for golfing in the business, y'see."
  12. [20:45] <@Ghostwheel> "Nonsense! You'll all play..." his gaze falls over Loxley "...I suppose. I have extra clubs in the golf card."
  13. [20:46] <@Ghostwheel> "Fetch them, Willard!" he calls out to the ginger kid, who hustles to the cart.
  14. [20:47] <@Ghostwheel> *cart
  15. 06[20:48] * Loxley looks down, tugging his jacket a bit. "Don't worry, it doesn't impede my movement really. I don't think I'll have trouble with the swings."
  16. [20:50] <@Ghostwheel> Duke tees a ball on the first hole as Willard manages to haul your clubs over to you.
  17. 06[20:51] * Trocaire takes his clubs, thanking the ginger kid.
  18. 06[20:51] * Loxley moves to assist him with one set for himself. "Come now, don't make the poor kid act as a carry drone, or some sort of mule."
  19. 06[20:54] * Dr-Mercury takes a club but just lightly rests it on his shoulder "Maybe the Padre should go first. Be nice to have God on our side for once."
  20. 06[20:54] * Trocaire takes his place at the tee after his host, putting some effort in a game he's only played once before.
  21. [20:56] <@Ghostwheel> "Nonsense!" Duke says to Loxley "It builds character. And there will be substantial tip if he DOESN'T DROP THE CLUBS!" He trails off into shouting unnecessarily at Willard.
  22. [20:59] <@Ghostwheel> Duke's shot flies some distance, but curves to the right and off the fairway landing in the rough and rolling toward the treeline.
  23. [20:59] <@Ghostwheel> Duke grumbles something vulgar under his breath.
  24. 01[20:59] <Auberon> "Well, let's see how I do..."
  25. 06[21:01] * Auberon picks a golf ball with a stylized 5 inside what appears to be a hooked cross, sets it on the tee, and swings.
  26. 06[21:05] * Loxley makes a 50 credit transfer into the boy's account, whispering to him. "Hopefully that helps to dissuade some of your discomfort."
  27. [21:06] <@Ghostwheel> Willard's face lights up "Thank you, sir! That's mighty generous of you."
  28. [21:08] <Loxley> "Your go, Doctor."
  29. 06[21:09] * Dr-Mercury brandishes the club with a flourish and tosses his cane to Loxley "Yeah I got ya game right here."
  30. 06[21:10] * Loxley catches and spins the cane before setting it down and leaning on it lightly.
  31. [21:10] <@Ghostwheel> Each of the crew steps up to tee off and finds themselves doing at least as good Duke if not better. Loxley in particular does well and manages to come in 3 strokes under Duke who ends the game with a grimace plastered on his face.
  32. [21:10] <@Ghostwheel> "Well, you're all athletic. I suppose that will come in handy."

  42. 03[21:14] * Knife is now known as Aub
  43. 06[21:15] * Dr-Mercury retrieves his cane and returns the club
  44. [21:15] <Loxley> "Indeed, please enlighten us."
  45. [21:18] <@Ghostwheel> Duke clears his throat "Very well, down to business..."
  46. 02[21:19] * Auberon (~OrdoXenos@7795dbe.6b45bb2.ca.comcast.net) Quit (Ping timeout: 360 seconds)
  47. 03[21:20] * Aub is now known as Auberon
  48. [21:22] <@Ghostwheel> "There's a particular business along Interstate 5 in Everett, just off Silver Lake called Emerald City Dynamics. Starting now and for the next five days, I would you like to hire you to harass, vandalize, steal, and sabotage all of their property."
  49. [21:23] <Trocaire> "I'm waitin' for a 'but'."
  50. [21:25] <@Ghostwheel> "Well, there are some rules of engagement. Lethal force against employees of ECD is undesirable; kill one of them and your pay will be reduced by one third. Additionally, while you can do whatever you would like to most of ECD's assets, you must not cause structural damage to any of the buildings on their grounds or hurt the land in anyway. No chemical agents, virals weapons, or any of that...
  51. [21:25] <@Ghostwheel> ...sort of thing."
  52. 06[21:26] * Loxley flicks into the Matrix through his implanted comms and pulls up the public information for Emerald City Dynamics.
  53. [21:27] <Trocaire> "Right, so we're breaking the things inside, but not the people or the building. That's going to be difficult, especially if the security is high."
  54. [21:27] <Loxley> "You're wanting the buildings and land in good condition, as well as the workers, so you can buy said land and buildings and hopefully hire said workers for cheap?"
  55. [21:30] <@Ghostwheel> Duke hands Trocaire a folder with a few loose papers in them "Well, here's something to get you started." He turns Loxley and says flatly "That factory is an eyesore and pollutant to the lake. We're going to turn it into soccer fields for the local schools."
  56. 06[21:32] * Trocaire opens it up, taking a quick glance and making sure to place his fingers so the papers don't fly off with a stray breeze.
  57. [21:35] <Loxley> "Mmmkay."
  58. [21:36] <Trocaire> "A black and white photo...was your drone damaged or something, Mister Duke?"

  68. [21:38] <Trocaire> "No, just a simple curiosity, is all."
  69. [21:39] <Trocaire> "And what were you offering for a job like this?"
  70. [21:42] <@Ghostwheel> "I'm prepared to offer you 11,000¥, three thousand of it up front. For each of you, that is to say."
  71. [21:42] <@Ghostwheel> He pauses and adds as an afterthought "And a years dues to this club paid in full."
  72. [21:43] <Loxley> "Eleven thousand, each."
  73. [21:45] <Loxley> [Now, what's the part he isn't telling us?] He messages to the others of his small, new group of semi-forced together comraderie.
  74. [21:45] <Trocaire> "A generous offer, Mister Duke. But you gotta understand that if we're going to keep the body count low, we're putting ourselves, and this operation here at terrible risk. Puttin' ourselves in danger for the uhhh...good of the community is its own reward, but that doesn't pay hospital bills, now does it?"
  75. 06[21:47] * Loxley winces at the words hospital bills. "Don't remind me. You never know when a simple job may somehow have an attached attack helicopter."
  76. 01[21:49] <Auberon> "GOD I hate that guy."
  77. [21:53] <Loxley> [On the upside, if he's legit... we can make some good cash off the stock. ECD makes motors and generators for land and watercraft. CEO is a David Cherbourne and the HQ is in Vancouver.]
  78. 01[21:55] <Auberon> [He's not offering stock though. Should we be asking for it? Not all of our identities are permanent enough to have long-term investments like that on them.]
  79. [21:57] <Loxley> [I meant the stock in the factory's warehouses, the goods we'd steal and such.]
  80. [21:58] <@Ghostwheel> Duke raises a skeptic eyebrow to Trocaire "You want more pay because the job might be dangerous? It was my understanding that danger is something that is included by standard in a Runner's fee. You're free to fence whatever you take, there will be plenty of opportunities to make money."
  81. 06[22:01] * Trocaire hides his disappointment with practiced confidence, "A fair enough point, Mister Duke. Oh, and another thing. You would happen to be willing to part with more info about these shipments, or are you leaving that to us?" He wiggles the folder.
  82. [22:03] <@Ghostwheel> "My knowledge is limited, but I'm willing to answer questions. What do you want to know about them?"
  83. [22:05] <Trocaire> "Unfortunately, the manifests are greek to me, so I was just curious if there was anything glaringly important about them that I was missing."
  84. 01[22:06] <Auberon> "There seems to be quite a few noteworthy megacorp customers with a wide range of areas of focus, but ECD serves all of them. Are they just a shipping company or is there something in particular these guys specialize in?"
  85. [22:09] <Loxley> [The only 'oddity' I saw was Aztech, but those guys are creepy and may be building their own sort of transport of some kind.]
  86. 06[22:09] * @Ghostwheel furrows his eyebrows, looking a little annoyed "The timestamps, I suppose? I'm sure you have resources that can assist you in interpreting the data." He turns to Auberon "They manufacture motors and generators mostly, they're small but they're becoming a contender."
  87. 06[22:10] * Trocaire smiles a little at Duke's last comment.
  88. [22:10] <@Ghostwheel> *Duke furrows
  89. [22:13] <Loxley> "Indeed? Well, fellows, what do you think? It sounds easy enough, decent pay." [And definitely something hidden here. Aub, find out more on this guy and where he gets his money.]
  90. [22:14] <Trocaire> "Aye. Seems like a good enough job. Always could use some more traditional sports in the world. Never did like the new violent ones."
  91. [22:15] <@Ghostwheel> Duke nods "Tradition is important" he says with a glance toward Loxley.
  92. [22:16] <Dr-Mercury> "Yeah sounds good to me too. Can't wait to fully enjoy this club of yours."
  93. 01[22:16] <Auberon> "Certainly could get used to a game like this, ha ha." [You don't know? Man works un upper management at Governor Brackhaven's investment firm. That golfing outfit probably costs more than my rent.]
  94. 01[22:17] <Auberon> [He also owns this country club, so he can make good on that deal he promised, too.]
  95. [22:17] <Loxley> [And where does Governor Brackhaven invest into? If a good chunk is into ECD's rivals... we got a good motive.]
  96. [22:17] <Trocaire> "I agree. Tradition is extremely important. We'll keep in touch, Mr. Duke."
  97. 01[22:17] <Auberon> [Heh, it was kind of funny, when he said "a year's worth of dues to the club," I thought he meant Humanis. Then I remembered Lox.]
  98. 01[22:18] <Auberon> [...oh yeah, he's also an officer at Humanis.]
  99. 06[22:18] * Loxley has only the slightest twitch of the eye. "Well, seems we are agreed on taking this job."
  100. 06[22:20] * Auberon moves forward, beaming brightly. "Yes, we sure are. Sounds stellar, Mr. Duke."
  101. 06[22:20] * Dr-Mercury turns to leave "You'll know when the job is over. I know you're good for the credits, that's for sure."
  102. [22:22] <Loxley> [I suppose that the only reason I'm not again full of holes is cause of the location for the meeting. If Brackhaven isn't investing into ECD's rivals, he may use this to be furthering some other sort of goal.] He bows his head lightly at Mr. Duke and turns to leave.
  103. [22:23] <@Ghostwheel> "Good to hear it!" he replies, tossing a commlink to Auberon "I'll call on this when either you've done enough damage to fulfill our needs or when five days have elapsed."
  104. 01[22:23] <Auberon> [He does own this place. If he wanted you dead, you'd have been dead days before he called us to meet him.]
  105. [22:24] <Loxley> [Well, you know, dead elf at a Humanis member's golf course? Draws attention.]
  106. [22:24] <Trocaire> [Assuming anyone finds out.]
  107. 06[22:24] * Auberon fumbles a bit, but manages to right the comm and put it in his pocket. "Out of vague curiosity, how much does that golfing outfit run for?"
  108. [22:25] <Trocaire> "Aye, it's rather fetching."
  109. 01[22:26] <Auberon> [My rent is about \1,700. Yours?]
  110. [22:27] <@Ghostwheel> "Oh this? It's a 'Mortimer of London' design. They start at 5,000¥ but can run a little more depending on the cut and personalization."
  111. [22:27] <Loxley> [About 5k a month for everything in my budget, including food and entertainments. Of course, I live alone.]
  112. [22:27] <Trocaire> [About 2k. It's nice, but I have a few unruly roommates. A temper the lot of them.]
  113. [22:29] <Trocaire> "Ah, I see. Thanks for the info, Mister Duke, and again, we'll keep in touch."
  114. 06[22:29] * Trocaire turns to follow the others off the course.
  115. [22:30] <@Ghostwheel> "Good hunting, gentlemen. If all goes well this might blossom into a closer working relationship" he salutes the group by hoisting a club and walks back over to the first hole, apparently deciding he needs more practice.
  116. [22:32] <@Ghostwheel> 5 October 2072. 0900.
  117. [22:33] <Loxley> [So, how do you want to handle this?]
  118. 01[22:38] <Auberon> [Well, we can't blow the place up, but need to cause lasting damage. We don't have Frost's attack chopper to go full-retard with, nor a drone to have go in... hmm...]
  119. [22:43] <Loxley> [... I got an idea. If we had a distraction, I could find the overseer's office, sneak in, and steal whatever's inside or burn all the documents.]
  120. [22:43] <Dr-Mercury> [It would be easier to harass the employees or intercept shipments.]
  121. 06[22:44] * Dr-Mercury enters his now dark blue westwind [Either way we should check the area in general.]
  122. [22:45] <Loxley> [Fair enough... and harass how? Damaging cars and shit, breaking legs?]
  123. 01[22:46] <Auberon> [Well, only 'killing' was prohibited... seems like going against the spirit of the deal though.]
  124. [22:47] <Dr-Mercury> [The less comfortable these people are, the more likely people mess up thousand credit deals.]
  125. [22:49] <Dr-Mercury> [You're riding with me, Padre. Let's check this place out. I suggest you two look into the company itself. See if they got any weaknesses we can hammer, capisce?]
  126. 01[22:49] <Auberon> [...you know, considering the sum we're getting, and have gotten, couldn't we just hire a gang to harrass them for us?]
  127. [22:53] <Loxley> [Still think something's going on... why hire Runners for such a price if less than that could hire you gangers for the same job.]
  128. [22:53] <Dr-Mercury> [Guaranteed deniable assets.]
  129. [22:55] <Trocaire> [Also gangers aren't guaranteed to keep the building intact.]
  130. [22:55] <Loxley> [Right...]
  131. 01[22:56] <Auberon> [...any chance we can convince the local gangers to compete for a "who can piss these guys off the most" contest? Put up a prize and rules?]
  132. 01[22:57] <Auberon> [There's three different gangs with power in the area, after all.]
  133. [22:57] <Dr-Mercury> [I'll let you know what we find out. You don't prepare a steak without knowing what kind of meat your cooking with, right?]
  134. [22:58] <Loxley> [Interstate 5 is the territory of an all female Go-Gang called The Desolation Angels, but the industrial areas are run by a larger street gang called The Cutters. Additionally there is a lesser gang called The Scatterbrains in the area that market themselves as a gang of pranksters and artists. Problem is, get them all trying to out do each other, someone's gonna break any 'rules' we lay...
  135. [22:58] <Loxley> ...down to fuck the others over.]
  136. 01[23:03] <Auberon> [Yeah, I can see that potentially being a problem. I still like the idea though. Trashing a company like this doesn't really fit our strengths terribly well, so having a bunch of gangers do the hard part sounds like a fun way to work around it.]
  137. [23:04] <Loxley> [Right... still, look into the guy and the various leads as to 'why' he wants this place hit like this. Cause 'eyesore' factories that he's going to trash for soccer fields don't normally get told 'don't harm em'.]
  138. [23:05] <Dr-Mercury> [I don't care about his motives, knife ear. Do me a favor keep your focus on the job.]
  139. 06[23:05] * Dr-Mercury drives towards the area with Trocaire
  140. 01[23:06] <Auberon> [Probably hires a bunch of metahumans. Humanis officer, remember?]
  141. [23:06] <Trocaire> [There's little mystery. He said it himself. They're starting to become a contender.]
  142. [23:07] <Trocaire> [He's cutting competition before it starts.]
  143. 01[23:07] <Auberon> [Well, let's at least finish the legwork on the company before we draw conclusions.]
  144. [23:09] <Loxley> [I'm more worried his motives may be to have someone swoop in and 'save the company' to make them look like big goddamn heroes and keep from having to pay us the rest.]
  145. [23:10] <Loxley> [Especially if he has ties to Cyclops, the security of the place.]
  146. 01[23:27] <Auberon> [I think I found out the link with the 5-day deadline, chaps. The company manufactures motors and generators for land and watercraft. This facility is the primary supplier of the Chrysler-Nissan Jackrabbit's motor, which is interesting because the company has an exclusive contract with Nissan that's up in 5 days.]
  147. 01[23:28] <Auberon> [Place is run by an Erik Fjordson, by the way, in case you have a car you want to trash.]
  148. [23:30] <Trocaire> [So we primarily go for the Nissan shipments.]
  149. 01[23:30] <Auberon> [So from the way this is looking, this is fairly straightforward business-political agency we're doing. Ruin the value of something at a critical point so the rich can take advantage and get richer. There probably won't be any cavalry outside of Cyclops.]
  150. [23:31] <Loxley> [Huh, so really is just a 'wreck this company so my invested into company can profit' one? I... almost feel weird thinking about it. A straight, goddamn job.]
  151. 01[23:32] <Auberon> [Oh, and Fjordson is aligned with the mob, and the parent company donated to Governor Brackhaven's opponent's campaign. Looks pretty no-nonsense, honestly.]
  152. [23:32] <Dr-Mercury> [Wait did you say Erik?]
  153. 01[23:33] <Auberon> [...youuuu know this guy, Merc? And yeah, Erik Fjordson.]
  154. [23:33] <Dr-Mercury> "...Change of plans, Padre. We are taking a detour."
  155. [23:34] <Dr-Mercury> [Not personally but you just gave me a lead.]
  156. [23:34] <Loxley> [... aligned with the mob. Like, 'I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse' mob?]
  157. [23:35] <Dr-Mercury> [Not the flash mobs you dance with, that's for damn sure.]
  158. 06[23:35] * Loxley begins inventing words to express how upset he is by this development.
  159. 01[23:36] <Auberon> [Is there another mo- oh, right, the Yakuza. No, it's the mob. Sicily, wine, baseball-bat-to-kneecaps, You-come-into-my-house-on-the-day-of-my-granddaughter's-birthday mob.]
  160. [23:36] <Loxley> [First Yaks, now the mob. Can't we just get a straight job that doesn't potentially get us on a horrible hit list?]
  161. 01[23:37] <Auberon> [At least it looks like an ACTUALLY straight job this time. And he's probably just a business partner, not an actual mob member.]
  162. [23:38] <Dr-Mercury> [It isn't about him being a member. It is who he knows.]
  163. 06[23:38] * Trocaire looks over at Mercury. "A detour where?"
  164. [23:38] <Dr-Mercury> "Hopefully a pleasant visit."
  165. [23:39] <Trocaire> "Hopefully, aye." Trocaire sighs, shaking his head nigh imperceptibly.
  166. [23:40] <Loxley> [Fine, but if my knees suffer for it, there goes your christmas present.]
  167. [23:41] <Trocaire> [I would think better your knees than more bullet holes to add to your collection, Mister Loxley.]
  168. [23:41] <Loxley> [Har-dee-har-har.]
  169. 01[23:44] <Auberon> [Wasn't shooting your knees his plan in the first place? What would you have preferred? At least everything that got hit was soft and fixable.]
  170. [23:44] <Dr-Mercury> [Hey far as i'm concerned, I saved your life. Be happy I haven't called in that favor yet.]
  171. [23:45] <Dr-Mercury> "Ok listen up, Padre. I'm gonna come clean with ya."
  172. [23:45] <Loxley> [And when you do, I'll remove whomever you wish dead. I'm just saying, I don't want to be on any of the 'big' group's bad sides that have the power to chase me down and make my fucking life miserable or dead.]
  173. 01[23:46] <Auberon> [Nice that you're being candid about it. Aces to you.]
  174. [23:46] <Trocaire> "I believe it's customary to start with 'Bless me Father for I have sinned', but go on."
  175. [23:47] <Dr-Mercury> "We gotta go see a friend of mine. We could be calling down an ungodly shitstorm if we aren't careful."
  176. [23:47] <Trocaire> "Careful how?"
  177. [23:47] <Loxley> [What, I have a specific skill set.]
  178. [23:47] <Dr-Mercury> "This Erik fella is a friend of a man referred to as Uncle Al."
  179. [23:48] <Dr-Mercury> "To put it lightly. You don't fuck with Uncle Al unless you got about three armies worth of guns and a death wish."
  180. [23:50] <Dr-Mercury> "Now the man we are meeting is a good friend of mine called Jimmy Mac. Now this is where it gets tricky."
  181. [23:50] <Dr-Mercury> "He doesn't know i'm a runner and I plan to keep it that way."
  182. [23:50] <Trocaire> "And how do you explain me?"
  183. [23:50] <Dr-Mercury> "You are basically going to be my lead about this whole debacle. I suggest putting on that trustworthy face of yours."
  184. [23:52] <Trocaire> "Your lead...care to elaborate?"
  185. [23:53] <Dr-Mercury> "You are going to tell Jimmy Mac about this job and that you are a runner and a friend of mine."
  186. [23:53] <Dr-Mercury> "You know this means something to me so you are helping me out."
  187. [23:53] <Dr-Mercury> "That good enough for ya?"
  188. 06[23:54] * Dr-Mercury changes his SIN to one that reads Harvey De Mercurio "Look i'm making myself all vulnerable. I need you to trust me on this."
  189. 06[23:56] * Trocaire nods. "Alright."
  190. 06[23:56] * Dr-Mercury drives towards Everett on his way to the Casino Corner
  191. Session Time: Sat Oct 18 00:00:00 2014
  192. 01[00:00] <Auberon> [...so, uh, you guys have been quiet for while. Everything good in there?]
  193. [00:00] <Dr-Mercury> [I'm just following up on a lead. I'll keep you updated.]
  194. [00:04] <Loxley> [So, thinking fire is a good way to go.]
  195. [00:06] <@Ghostwheel> Casino Corner is set apart from Everett's largely industrial landscape, in that it is built to entice. It's a half-mile stretch of road flanked on either side mainly by casino-hotels, hence the name. Each of the buildings is decked out with neon lights, suggesting that the strip is probably terribly more impressing in the evening than the morning. After passing by several casinos, a bunraku...
  196. [00:06] <@Ghostwheel> ...parlor, all you can eat buffet, and streetwalkers offering the early bird special, Mercury's car comes to a stop at Shangri-La Casino.
  197. 06[00:09] * Dr-Mercury changes the cars color to a dark green. He also changes his suit to a dark green with a black tie as well as his hair to a more natural red hair "Here we go. Remember to watch what you say."
  198. [00:11] <@Ghostwheel> The casino itself is Buddhist themed and gaudy, possibly in an exercise in irony. The floor is circular and revolves around an enormous bronze statue of smiling, fat Buddha. Pulling up the AR map of the place up, Harvey and Troc see Jimmy Mac's icon in the dining section of the building.
  199. 06[00:12] * Dr-Mercury adjusts his suit and heads in
  200. 06[00:13] * Trocaire adjusts his clothing as well, following Mercury.
  201. [00:15] <@Ghostwheel> Jimmy Mac catches sight of the two as they approach his table. He rises to his feet raising a hand "Hey, Harv- eh, and Father McNeil...?" he trails off slightly confused.
  202. 06[00:16] * Dr-Mercury forces a smile "Hey Jimmy, this is a friend of mine. Look uh...I got some business I need to talk to you about, if you get my meaning."
  203. 06[00:19] * Dr-Mercury takes his hand in a firm handshake "Sorry for being so abrupt and all, i'm sure you were trying to enjoy your evening."
  204. 03[00:20] * Ghostwheel changes topic to 'Oct 5 2072- 0900'
  205. [00:21] <@Ghostwheel> "You hittin' the sauce? It's nine in the mornin', Harvey..."
  206. [00:21] <@Ghostwheel> "I didn't know the twos of ya knew each other" Jimmy Mac chuckles, bemused.
  207. 06[00:22] * Dr-Mercury checks his Timex "Jeez, my days and nights are running together...wait you know the Padre?"
  208. 06[00:22] * Trocaire smiles softly, letting a hint of seriousness mix in the smile.
  209. [00:23] <@Ghostwheel> "Yea, I been to Mass in his church before. Howzit going, Father?" Jimmy Mac says, shaking both their hands. "What can I do for ya?"
  210. [00:24] <Dr-Mercury> [Well Padre? If you don't want him to know your a runner, gonna have to do some lingual gymnastics.]
  211. 06[00:31] * Trocaire accepts the handshake. "Unfortunately, I'm in a bit of a bind. You see, there's this man, a mister Erik Fjordson who due to his connections, has put a friend of mine in a dangerous position, one that jeopardizes his life. He's asked me if there was any way I could help, and after much discussion, Mr. Mercurio here has informed me you could be of assistance."
