Those are valid points.
What was acceptable in 2007, seems to be not acceptable today, People seem to have a higher expectation. Baka-Tsuki had no reputation and was the only source of translated material so it was more lenient, It's wishful thinking to believe that Baka-Tsuki name has the same "reputation" as it did back in 2007.
There are always advantages and disadvantages to both our open community and the closed group methods, but if a "poor reputation" means being open and different to "translation groups/brigade" i will gladly wear it.
I will firmly oppose to the draconian and fascist methods of the translation group mentality to the day i retire.

But getting back to the topic,
I like the introduction of the "Machine Translation" Tag, lets keep ~preview~ for non-MT scripts of an early complete script by non-registered translator or by the registered translator.

Parameters of what Kuroihikari mentioned of tell-tale signs of machine translation.
Unreadability (that makes my head hurt) of 95% is a reasonable starting ponit, however i would like to apply that to a random sample paragraph taken from the suspected script.

lets say we give them 3 attempts with three different random paragraph (of more than 5 lines) and find 95% of it unreadable, it fails.

If 2 paragraph out of 3 fails, then lets deem that a machine translation.

Machine translation must be tagged and placed on a separate page outside of the naming convention and navigation bar of the intended chapter.

All guidelines were agreed to be updated this year, but the Machine Translation was missed, so i guess this is a good time to update them.
