  1. 8 - - Deal with the Devil
  2.
  3. OMEN: Ring
  4. ROOM: Abandoned Room, Balcony, Pentagram Chamber, Servants' Quarters
  5. TRAITOR: Left of the haunt revealer
  6.
  7. Red and blue lights flash in quick succession outside, and from the window you can clearly see a barricade of police cars waiting outside the mansion. There's no way the police could have figured out that you were doing this here and tonight unless someone tipped them off. And sure enough, one of your so-called friends seems to have disappeared while your back was turned.
  8.
  9. ----
  10.
  11. Right Now
  12. Place the Statue token (pentagonal) on the basement level in the room farthest away from the Basement Landing. If more than one room in the basement are this distance away, you may choose which of these rooms you put it in.
  13.
  14. ----
  15.
  16. What You Know About the Bad Guys
  17. The police are blocking all the exits, and only one being will be powerful enough to get you out of this trap. Your ex-friend has gone into hiding and you won’t be able to find him alone.
  18.
  19. ----
  20.
  21. You Win When …
  22. … the traitor is dead.
  23.
  24. ----
  25.
  26. How to Free Yourself
  27. If the Police manage to catch you, you will take damage during your turns and be unable to act. If you're captured, you can't attack, move, or use an item until you’re freed. Once during an explorer's turn, that explorer can attempt a Might roll of 3+ to free you (You can also attempt this roll).
  28.
  29. ----
  30.
  31. How to Animate the Statue
  32. The Demon Statue is hidden in the basement, and only its Ring will animate it. An explorer holding the Ring in the same room as the Statue may place it on the Statue's finger. If that happens, replace the Statue token with the Demon Lord token (large). If the hero who originally animated the Statue is killed or captured, the Demon Lord drops the Ring and turns back into the Statue. The hero who animated the Statue may not move during his or her turn.
  33.
  34. ----
  35.
  36. Special Attack Rules
  37. The Demon Lord behaves as a monster under the control of whoever animated it. It acts after that player's turn. The Demon Lord does not attack with Might, unless it is defending against a Might attack. Instead, it may make a Sanity attack against all explorers and monsters in its line of sight in all four directions (This may damage fellow heroes or even the player who animated the Demon Lord). This is the only way to kill the Police (A Police defeated by this attack is placed back in the traitor’s supply off the board).
  38.
  39. If the Demon Lord is in the tile in front of the Attic at the end of its turn, it smashes the Attic to pieces. Any explorers or monsters in the Attic fall down into the Entrance Hallway. Any explorer falling in this way takes 1 die of physical damage. Remove the Attic from the house and set it aside; it may never be readded to the house.
  40.
  41. ----
  42.
  43. If You Win …
  44. It gives you a surprising feeling of elation to watch that traitorous companion's brains boil from within him and his eyes to burst in their sockets. And when the Demon Lord raises one hand, the entire police force outside falls to their knees, clutching at their heads in futile resistance as the same thing happens to them. You will usher in a new era across the world, and no man shall defy you as long as you hold dominion over the Devil himself.
  45.
  46. ----
  47.
  48. DEMON LORD
  49. Speed Might Sanity
  50. 5 8 8
