  44. Backstory:
  45. "That's better now isn't it?" Oswald quips to his newly found patient as he finishes stitching up the large gash on the patients leg. The patient can only nod as he stifles back a wince. Oswald then unzips his bag, returning his sewing kit and taking out some low-grade painkillers, "I apologize for not having anything stronger but these will have to do." Oswald says as he offers the small tablets to the man. The man mouths a thank you to Oswald, his face a visual map of contusions and abrasions with colored highlights in red and purple. Oswald waves him off in his ever cheery demeanor, "Oh you needn't worry about that, I'm just thankful that you didn't suffer the same fate your friend over there did" he says while pointing to a body down the road with a jacket over its head. Oswald then turns back around with a quizzical expression. "You say you were both robbed by a group of bandits and then held prisoner?" The man solemnly nods as if recollecting the previous events that had led up to this. "Well then I'd suppose you'd ought to count yourself lucky, if I hadn't been traveling back to my camp at Stary I'd have never found you." Oswald chirps as if unaffected by the death of the woman and the mans misery. Oswald looks up to the sky and upon seeing the setting sun he looks towards the woods. "I suppose we should be finding somewhere safer to stay, it's getting late and I'd rather not stay on the roads." Oswald then points to the man. "That is unless you intend to befall the same fate as her" Oswald motions to the deceased survivor. The man puts his hand up in protest before being waved off by a cheery Oswald. "Don't worry about her, we'll move the body off to the side and come back for her tomorrow." Oswald grins at that last part. "Now come on, daylight is burning and you should be able to walk over this hill right?" The man gulps and pushes himself up using a branch Oswald gave him as a crutch as Oswald begins to drag the body into a bush. "You just head right over that hill and I'll meet you there shortly, I have to wash off my instruments and repack my bag." Oswald bounds for the nearby pond with his bag in tow snickering along the way, upon getting to the pond, Oswald feels around the reeds until he hits a metal barrel which he then opens revealing stashes of medical supplies along with small boxes of blood bags. "Ohh splendid they're all still here." Oswald clasps his hands together and then unzips his bag revealing three new blood bags. Pulling out a smaller bag with a syringe and a marker, Oswald tests the blood revealing it to be 0- blood. "Well well well, this was quite the find isn't it?" Oswald remarks to himself as he writes down O- on the bags and slips them into a box labeled 'O'. After washing up his instruments Oswald sighs as he looks down at his reflection in the water, he had been in this god forsaken place for too long, he was brought to Chernarus as part of a relief effort and now he was stuck here being a doctor to all these people. Oswald had met some shady characters, from slavers to children, Oswald never discriminated who he would administer aid to, but that had come at a price, he had been beaten up, robbed, and even shot at in his travels. Sighing Oswald returned his items back to their proper places and shoulders his bag before walking back down the road, leaving the man to wonder what had happened.
