  1. I want to study Games Technology because I've been playing videos games for well over a decade, loved every bit of it and I want to be able to give that joy to future generations with games that I intend to develop for a range of ages. Once I've completed this course I intend to start my own game development company and work on one of many ideas I have started working on in the gap year that I took.
  2. I only knew this was what I wanted to when I started to learn to code in As level computing, as soon as we started I was hooked, I really enjoyed it but realised if I did computer sciences I wouldn't be able to use my skills that I've developed as an artist over the last 5 years in A level and GCSE art but also as a hobby, I then saw that in Games Technology you do both coding and design work and knew it was the prefect course for me.
  3. I have a moderate understanding of Java, which I attained doing my A level computing project which read a CVS file into a 2D array then displayed it in a searchable table. I also have basic understanding python. I thoroughly enjoy building a pc for my friends and family from parts up.
  4. I look forward to doing group projects as I am interested to understand how the game development process works in a team environment.

  6. I have been to lots of different museums and art galleries over the last couple of years. I believe that as given me a reasonable understanding of lots of different genres of design, thus allowing me to make design decisions while also allowing me to put deeper meaning into a simple design choice, to relay emotions or state of being.
