- Ok real talk, I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes but as someone who spends a LOT of time watching and talking about Overwatch professional play this might be the least enjoyable spectator patch we have seen to date. Here is my proposed patch notes list of what I think needs to be changed. Obviously not everyone is going to agree with me, but I can't see this having a negative impact on the game.
- I want every hero to be viable, and I want tank play to be situational not expected.
- Ana -
- Sleep is no longer instant, has a 1 second 'drowsiness' stage that slows you until you sleep, can be purged off by zarya bubble/rewind and whatever
- Remove the DoT on the left click
- Nanoboost is 35% damage, speed, and resistance increase
- Nuke does half the damage it currently does
- [Sleep dart is too strong, nuke is too strong, she's OP if you just look at heal rate, the rest of it is just absurd]
- DVa -
- Reduce uptime of matrix by 20%, take away the extra 100 health, leave the speed
- [This hero needs to be punished for aggression, not rewarded across the map by ana with too much hp to get through]
- 76 -
- take 1 damage off every bullet he shoots, up the cooldown of heal station
- [heal station makes him the best 1v1 hero in the game right now]
- Zarya -
- Revert the graviton build change and reduce the radius of pull by 1-2 meters
- [With the changes to how fast she gets charge now, the ult delay is too high on top of it, she's not op because of her ult but her bubbles are too useful in every scenario]
- Roadhog -
- Can no longer turn while using 'take a breather'
- [If he wants to heal he has to turn around before hand or get shot in the face til he dies. This ability should not be a panic button, but a planned ability]
- Mercy -
- Applies resurrect invulnerability to herself upon cast
- [Her suiciding during cast leaving you 5v6 at the end of a res is awful and makes her the worst support in the game]
- Lucio -
- Left click does 5 more damage per pellet
- [This hero is painful to try and deathmatch with, his speed is why he's overpowered, and why he will always be played, making him do 0 damage just makes casual players not want to ever pick him]
- Meta changes -
- Ults build 20% faster, 33% would be what it used to be
- Ults no longer build while respawning
- Cart can no longer be stalled by invulnerability (ice block, trans, reaper phase, etc)
- [All of these will make the game feel more fluid and fix SOME issues with 2cp maps]
