  4. Chapter 1: A Gift to the World
  5.
  6. They say that all men are born equal. I suppose that was the first clue that I was no ordinary man, I was so much more. I remember my birth clearly; it was a breezy, summer day in my home country of Britain. Many people were there for my birth: the whole of my extended family, the nation's finest doctors, and of course all the nobility of the United Kingdom. It was obvious. I was not born a man, I was born a God. From that day on, I knew that I was destined for greatness.

  8. Chapter 2: Born to Create
  9.
  10. I was 31 years old when the first Pokemon game came out. I remember the excitement that flowed through me when I got my hands on the first copy of Pokemon Red Version to ever be made. After all, I had personally advised the creation of the game, and was responsible for the design and creation of 143 of the original Pokemon. The game was such a success that within ten years, a handful of sequels were produced. Off the top of my head, I was responsible for inventing thirteen types, 68% of all the Pokemon, and had won nearly every competitive tournament under various pseudonyms. In the meantime, I was making millions off of my law firm; I decided it was best to retire early, leaving me with 18 hours of free time a day that I spent getting laid or playing Pokemon. It was a few days after my 44th birthday that I discovered the perfect home for my own personal Empire.

  12. Chapter 3: Kings and Gods

  14. I made my debut on Pokemon Showdown with a bang. As one of the game's main developers and a multinational champion, I quickly ascended the ladder to number one in every single tier using a variety of alternate accounts. Of course, as time passed I decided it would be best if I worked under a single name. Eventually, I adopted the moniker "TheDethroner"; it was meant to go along with my personal maxim's, "How does it feel to be dethroned?" and, "What's a king to a god?" After several weeks of absolute domination and smashing opponents 6-0 24/7, I decided that I should focus my ambitions and settle for a single metagame: Monotype. The concept, originally a suggestion I sent anonymously to Zarel himself, was a metagame where only one type was allowed per team, much like the teams used by Gym Leaders (another concept I invented) in the game. Before long, the metagame gained massive popularity and once again, I was struck with inspiration.

  16. Chapter 4: The Snowball Effect
  17.
  18. It wasn't long after I pitched my idea for leagues before the idea caught on. While many claimed to have come up with the concept long before my time, they had all actually taken inspiration from the ideas I had pitched. Of course, my brilliant idea caught in a flash, and before long leagues popped up all around the main server. I myself was not yet ready to create my own league yet; I wished to study other league's as a test trial, to find out the best way to create my own. It was only after several of months of research that I came up with yet another brilliant idea: a server specifically created for league related activities. Of course, in order to maintain my status as a silent observer I couldn't take direct part in the server. Instead I suggested the idea, and as with all my proposals, the idea spread around quickly. Within weeks, a user by the name of BrittleWind had taken my concept and created the Frost Server, a home for all leagues.

  20. Chapter 5: Observation, Application & Execution
  21.
  22. Months passed and the server, along with its league's, continued to grow. It was late in that year when Generation VI had finally come out. This was the first generation that I didn't work on directly, other than a a few pieces of concept art submitted that would eventually manifest into Aegislash, Greninja and eleven mega-evolutions. Anytime that wasn't spent silently observing, getting laid, or starting internet debates was funneled into innovating the metagame. Among others, I was the inventor of sets such as Snore Meloetta, Curse on Ghost, and my personal favorite, Belly Drum Charizard-X. Of course, with all my visions, there were those who imitated me and attempted to steal credit; who could blame them? Even Prometheus tried to steal fire from the Gods. Days passed, then weeks and months. Finally, after a year and a half of careful observation, I decided it was time to make my move. As the ancient Pantheon had the Romans, I too would have my own personal empire.
