[19:48]	`GM	Previously, on that show you watch: Jonah had taken Liu for an involuntarily joyride in an F18, which she is currently coping with by melting into a puddle over there. Colonel Samuelson was less than pleased with this, and responded by melting Jonah into a puddle, over there. Meanwhile, over there, a melty puddle of metal is running towards the heat of the action.
[19:50]	Ai`	jogs with Kitkat towards the hangar, unaware of the incident's violent resolution.
[19:51]	Kitkat	is more or less propping Ai up gently by the armpit; she hasn't quite gotten this "running" thing down yet.
[19:52]	Kitkat	"You're doin' okay, just a little bit further!"
[19:54]	Ai`	"Understood."
[19:54]	Ai`	attempts to refine her running movements as best she can on the fly.
[19:57]	`GM	[The pair trundles their way to the wide runway, where inside the hanger than can see a gaggle of people gathered, though from this distance it's quite unspecific.]
[19:57]	`GM	[Suddenly, the rapid report of gunshots can be heard from that direction.]
[19:59]	`GM	ColonelWalt: “And THAT, gentlemen, is why he is on this island.”
[19:59]	Liu	"...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"
[20:00]	Liu	screams, after a short delay
[20:00]	Ai`	snaps to attention and attempts to run faster, hearing the commotion.
[20:00]	`GM	[Jonah's body tips backwards and does not much of anything on the ground.]
[20:02]	`GM	[The flight crew lets out various shouts of shock and surprise themselves, though none break formation.]
[20:05]	`GM	[Kat and Ai hustle the rest of the distance just in time to take the majority of Liu's scream at a closer proximity that they'd probably have liked.]
[20:05]	`GM	Kat: "Wait, woah, what's going... WHAT THE HELL?!"
[20:06]	Liu	is ashen faced, and her skirt is wet
[20:06]	Ai`	analyzes the scene, figuring others will explain the circumstances. For the moment, she strides towards Jonah's body, inspecting it.
[20:06]	`GM	[Kaitlyn lets go of Ai and starts dashing towards Jonah's body.]
[20:06]	Ai`	"Does your species have backup systems? Damage seems severe."
[20:06]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "The two of you will remain where you are!"
[20:07]	`GM	[The Colonel bellows at the pair as they make to help their comrade.]
[20:07]	Ai`	reiterates her concern, although it's deadpan as always.
[20:08]	Ai`	"If your species has backup systems, Jonah may still be saved. I can assist."
[20:08]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "You SHALL refrain!"
[20:09]	`GM	[The Colonel is not at ALL kidding here. He's finally looking frustrated and even angry, for once.]
[20:10]	`GM	[Walking over in front of the flight crew, he instructs a pair of them to put Mr. Moors' body in the back of one of the jeeps, which they do, albeit not in the most timely of manners.]
[20:11]	Liu	is still sitting by, shaking, her mouth opening and closing repeatedly
[20:12]	Ai`	halts and attempts to assemble situational details instead. In particular, she analyzes the spent casings on the ground and the nature of Jonah's wounds.
[20:12]	`GM	[Kat just whips her head from person to person, totally at a loss. She eventually slumps down to her knees and starts pulling at her hair-fur.]
[20:13]	Ai`	"Slugs fired via chemical propellant. Simple, but effective."
[20:13]	`GM	Kitkat: "What the hell what the hell nyo nyo nyo oh my god what the hell..."
[20:14]	Ai`	continues to comment and question on the situation rather than helping Kat, but its priority only sits /just/ higher.
[20:14]	Ai`	"Colonel, how did Jonah get shot?"
[20:14]	Liu	"Aaaa... aaaaaa..."
[20:14]	Liu	begins crying, still staring straight ahead
[20:15]	Ai`	looks to the others. Priority is /just/ barely higher.
[20:15]	`GM	[The Colonel glowers at Ai.]
[20:16]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "Mr. Moors was shot because he made a very, VERY, foolish choice."
[20:17]	Ai`	correlates that choice to the loud sounds heard from the direction of the airfield earlier.
[20:18]	Ai`	now tries to assess severity.
[20:18]	Ai`	"Did his choice endanger any personnel or materiel of this facility?"
[20:20]	`GM	[Walt squints judgingly at Ai, and makes a quick comment before turning away.]
[20:21]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "That is not currently your concern, android."
[20:22]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "Private Roland! You will escort the civilians in the second jeep back to the main residence and keep them under observation until I join you!"
[20:22]	Ai`	detects a stone wall and routes around it.
[20:22]	Ai`	"I will attempt to continue questioning at a later time, then.
[20:23]	Ai`	turns to Kat and attempts to help her up, and in theory, comfort her. That said, she doesn't well know how...
[20:24]	`GM	[Kat gets up without much trouble, through she's shaking like a leaf. A rather sturdier leaf than Liu, but still...]
[20:24]	`GM	Kat: "What the hell is this shit... Why, why am I... What is this place...?"
[20:25]	Ai`	"Kat, please calm down."
[20:25]	Ai`	attempts to hold her hand. It was taken as a gesture of peace upon her arrival, so it should still hold true in some sense.
[20:26]	`GM	[Kat grips Ai by the shoulders and shouts into her face.]
[20:26]	`GM	Kat: "HE JUST SHOT HIM! HE JUST, HE JUST SHOT HIM, RIGHT THERE!"
[20:26]	`GM	Kat: "CALM DOWN WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE?!"
[20:27]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "You will lower your voice, Ms. Katrin!"
[20:27]	Ai`	frowns.
[20:27]	Ai`	"Something we do not yet understand."
[20:27]	Ai`	adds in a whisper, a moment later:
[20:28]	Ai`	"If needed, I shall seek your protection."
[20:28]	`GM	[Roland walks up to the three girls and tries in a somewhat ham-handedly-compassionate manner to usher the women to a jeep WITHOUT a body in it.]
[20:29]	`GM	Roland: "Come on, come on girls, into the jeep, Colonel's orders."
[20:30]	Liu	puts up a token resistance, but it's not even a fraction of her usual strength
[20:31]	Ai`	takes a seat and attempts to guide Kat next to her.
[20:33]	`GM	[Roland makes a few polite attempts to get Liu to move on her own, but it's clear she's in no state to do so. Sighing, Roland shoulders her up, nearly drops her, and ends up practically dragging her to the vehicle.]
[20:35]	`GM	[Exchanging a few hushed words with the Colonel, Roland steps into the driver's seat and moves at a slow pace towards the mansion.]
[20:35]	Liu	flops is on her side, not attempting to sit up, and starting to smell a bit
[20:36]	`GM	[Kitkat is still shivering and scratching at her fur, as it becomes wetted down with frightened tears.]
[20:37]	`GM	[Roland attempts to console them.]
[20:38]	Ai`	attempts to do the same in her own limited way.
[20:38]	`GM	Roland: "I... I, don't know, what to say..."
[20:40]	`GM	[Roland is not very good at this.]
[20:42]	Ai`	tries to pull Kat into a light, slightly awkward hug.
[20:45]	`GM	[Kat just allows herself to be leaned in, so her arms are clamped to her side while hugged.]
[20:47]	Liu	doesn't do any more than just sit there, exactly like she was before
[20:50]	`GM	[The jeep rolls into the driveway in front of the residence, and Roland leads the three into a not-quite-furnished den as best he can.]
[20:51]	Liu	remains limp and damp, sobbing slightly.
[20:51]	`GM	Roland: "Now, uhh... You all need to stay right here; the Colonel wants to speak with you once he gets back."
[20:52]	Ai`	nods, but resumes her line of questioning anyway. At least, after making sure Kat has a seat.
[20:52]	Ai`	"Do you know what is happening?"
[20:53]	`GM	[Roland rubs his temple and shakes his head.]
[20:54]	`GM	Roland: "Lady I don't know SHIT, 'cept that kid stole a jet from the Colonel."
[20:54]	`GM	Roland: "Lady, you don't steal a jet from the Colonel."
[20:55]	Liu	curls up, and starts crying harder, balling up her shirt in her hands
[20:55]	Ai`	"A 'jet'?"
[20:55]	Ai`	glances at Liu; she'll have to attempt comforting her soon.
[20:56]	`GM	[Kat crawls over to Liu and tries to curl up into her; at least SHE'S feeling an emotion right now.]
[20:57]	Liu	"I's my faaaaauuuulllld!"
[20:57]	`GM	Roland: "You don't what what a jet is?"
[20:58]	Liu	wails out, tail thrashing limply
[20:58]	Ai`	"I have theories, but do not know. Could you please explain?"
[20:58]	Ai`	takes a few tentative steps towards Liu and Kat.
[20:59]	`GM	Kat: "The, the hell? Who's, what nyo it's nyot!"
[20:59]	`GM	Kat: "It's, it's just...! It's...!"
[20:59]	`GM	[Kat can't think of anything positive to finish the sentence with, and just starts crying into Liu's shoulder again]
[21:00]	`GM	[Roland just raises "this eyebrow" at the android.]
[21:00]	`GM	Roland: "...No."
[21:02]	Ai`	decides to play her majority guess.
[21:03]	Ai`	"My first guess is an aerospace craft, designed for interception of other such craft."
[21:03]	Ai`	continues.
[21:04]	`GM	[Roland just rolls his eyes and leans against the doorframe, away from the girls.]
[21:05]	Ai`	"While important tools, misuse of one does not ordinarily result in the termination of its operator, especially not a Sentient."
[21:05]	Ai`	"Anomalies exist in this situation. Data you provide could help Kat and Liu."
[21:05]	`GM	Roland: "Will you just shut the hell up, freak?!"
[21:06]	`GM	[Roland humphs and turns his head away, visibly frustrated.]
[21:06]	Ai`	unblinkingly stares at Roland all the while continuing.
[21:07]	Ai`	"I am only trying to reduce stress upon Kat and Liu. We are all allies."
[21:10]	Liu	suddenly plants her feet on the floor, gripping the couch hard, and then throwing it as hard as she can at Roland and the wall, the upholstered projectile skipping across the ground
[21:13]	`GM	[Kat is flung onto the ground as Liu shifts her weight; the cat fails to land on her feet.]
[21:15]	`GM	[Roland doesn't take the couch full-on, but the utter suddenness of it all prevents him from dodging as he's knocked in the side and tumbles into the wall, cursing.]
[21:15]	Ai`	's gaze darts to Liu. She frowns.
[21:16]	Ai`	Do not do that.
[21:16]	Liu	is showing scales on her arms and under her eyes, glaring daggers at the man
[21:16]	Ai`	turns and sees to Roland, making sure he's alright.
[21:16]	`GM	[Roland, scrambles to his feet, rubbing his shins.]
[21:17]	`GM	Roland: "Get offa me, what the hell was that for?!"
[21:17]	`GM	Roland: "You wanna get yourself in even MORE trouble, bitch?!"
[21:19]	Ai`	Both of you, please cease hostilities, or I will be forced to intervene.
[21:19]	Ai`	speaks with an unusually hard edge to her voice.
[21:19]	`GM	[Roland glares at Ai incredulously.]
[21:19]	Liu	"Don't call us 'freaks' you ballsless bastard," she hisses, wavering slightly.
[21:19]	`GM	Roland: "Me? ME?! You're pointing at me, SHE'S the one who started this!"
[21:20]	Ai`	"Any yelling hurts the situation."
[21:20]	Ai`	then faces Liu specifically.
[21:20]	Ai`	"Liu, please relax."
[21:20]	Ai`	takes a step towards her.
[21:23]	Liu	losing her nerve again, Liu drops back to her knees, covering her face with her arms by grabbing her horns
[21:25]	`GM	[Kitkat has just shuffled backwards into a corner, a ball of orange fur and white cloth.]
[21:25]	Ai`	considers the dragon defused for the immediate moment, if not well. She turns to Roland.
[21:25]	Ai`	"You can see their pain. If you can tell us anything to lessen it, please do so."
[21:27]	`GM	[Roland continues to massage his shin and limp around, holding up his free palm in front of Ai's face.]
[21:27]	`GM	Roland: "Just... don't. Just don't."
[21:29]	Ai`	takes a short moment to try and construct a voice that sounds like natural pleading, if only for one statement.
[21:29]	Ai`	"Please."
[21:31]	`GM	[Roland sees the look of pity on Ai's synthetic face, even if it looks shallow, and sighs.]
[21:32]	`GM	Roland: "Uggh... Just, trust the Colonel. He knows what he's doing. He's a twenty-year man; he wouldn't have shot that boy without a good reason."
[21:34]	Liu	rams her head into the ground, lodging her horns with an angry cry
[21:35]	Ai`	"Could Jonah have endangered this island by his flight? Is your organization involved in active hostilities with another?"
[21:35]	Ai`	shoots for the most logical threats first.
[21:36]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "Mr. Moors did not have proper authorization to pilot that jet; end of discussion."
[21:37]	`GM	[The Colonel walks into the room, seemingly more composed, and observes its relative disarray skeptically.]
[21:38]	Ai`	turns to face the Colonel.
[21:38]	Ai`	"Can you tell Kat and Liu anything to reduce their stress?"
[21:39]	`GM	[The Colonel looks at both of the girls mentioned in turn, but says nothing.]
[21:39]	Liu	's scales are spreading again, but with her horns stuck she can't get up to reply or aggress.
[21:40]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "Mr. Sykes, you are relieved of your position here. You may return to your previous duties."
[21:41]	`GM	[Roland nods and happily absconds from the situation.]
[21:42]	Ai`	observes Liu for a moment before looking up to the Colonel again.
[21:50]	`GM	[The Colonel walks over in front of Liu and towers over her stuck-in-the-floor form.]
[21:50]	Ai`	"If you do not help Liu calm down in some way, this situation may grow dangerous. My attempts have been unsuccessful."
[21:50]	Ai`	keeps close by him, just in case.
[21:50]	Liu	attempts to growl at him, cowed by a mix of fear and remaining respect
[21:50]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "You will speak when spoken to, Entity Ai!"
[21:51]	`GM	[The Colonel raises his voice back to anger instantly, and then instantly goes back to his "disappointed" look.]
[21:52]	Ai`	frowns and goes silent. It is much easier when the command chain involves no other Sentients...
[21:53]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "Ms. Long, I give you a chance to redeem yourself from your past actions."
[21:53]	`GM	[Mr. Samuelson, however, says nothing else, and simply folds his arms behind him and waits expectantly.]
[21:54]	Liu	doesn't reply, but tenses, aggression waning,as evidenced by her back-to-human hands
[21:58]	`GM	[The Colonel taps his foot impatiently.]
[22:02]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "You have nothing to say for yourself?"
[22:03]	Liu	remains silent, biting her lip
[22:04]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "Very well, then I will."
[22:05]	`GM	[The Colonel takes a step or two back to better address the three of them, despite one behind stuck in the ground and another being curled into a ball.
[22:10]	Liu	perks up her ears, nervously
[22:11]	`GM	“This island is NOT a playground. Nor is it a military instillation, rural hamlet, prison, concentration camp, fairytale wonderland, or island paradise. This is a garbage dump. The United States government takes the trash they refuse to learn how to recycle and throw it as far downwind from them as they can.”
[22:11]	`GM	“They do NOT care about us here; if they did the taxpayers’ dollars would have gone to societal integration programs, not citizen asylums. They do not monitor us, ask nothing OF us, and expect nothing FROM us.”
[22:12]	`GM	"We are for all practical and realistic purposes off the edge of the map. There is no one to hold us accountable to anything... save ourselves."
[22:13]	Ai`	simply listens.
[22:13]	`GM	[The Colonel massages his temple, clearly annoyed that he has to state such an unfortunate truth out loud.]
[22:14]	`GM	[He continues, slowly raising his voice as he does so.]
[22:15]	`GM	"I am SUPPOSED to be retired, have been denied such a simple luxury as that, and I will NOT have some young upstarts, like yourselves, ruin the facade of a retirement I've been given, by treating this island like the garbage dump it is!!"
[22:16]	`GM	[The Colonel grabs one of Liu's horns and tugs on it forcefully, though not forcefully enough to dislodge her.]
[22:16]	Liu	squeaks involuntarily
[22:16]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "LONG LIU! YOU WILL STAND AND ADDRESS ME!"
[22:17]	Ai`	frowns, watching his treatment of Liu.
[22:19]	Liu	doesn't respond, shutting her eyes and steeling her jaw.
[22:20]	`GM	[The Colonel continues to wrench at Liu's horns, trying to get her upright.]
[22:23]	Liu	remains steadfast, doing absolutely nothing to assist with removing herself from the ground
[22:23]	`GM	"LONG LIU! IT IS DIRECTLY DUE TO YOUR CHILDISH GOADING OF JONAH MOORS THAT WE FIND OURSELVES IN THIS SITUATION!"
[22:24]	`GM	"YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS!"
[22:30]	`GM	[The Colonel observes that his tirade is evoking no response.]
[22:31]	`GM	[He removes his hand from her horn and sighs, straightening his jacket and turning to Ai.]
[22:33]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "Entity Ai, it seems, against my better judgement, that I must ask for your assistance."
[22:34]	Ai`	's surprise doesn't show, though it very much is there. Pleasantly so, in addition.
[22:34]	Ai`	"What is needed?"
[22:35]	`GM	ColonelWalt: "Please assist me in escorting Ms. Long downstairs to the pantry. Her dossier states that in periods of high stress she is most comforted by consuming large quantities of food."
[22:36]	Ai`	"Understood."
[22:36]	Ai`	crouches down close to Liu.
[22:37]	Ai`	"Liu, please get up?"
[22:38]	`GM	[The Colonel follows suit and leverages his and Ai's efforts together.]
[22:38]	Jonah	[and out of the blue, a light footsteps can be heard. It sounds like a barefooted person is approaching.]
[22:39]	Liu	places her hands on the ground, slowly, and strains, her horns finally breaking free along with small chips of floor.
[22:39]	Jonah	[and approached he did. Jonah is there, all in his full glory, clad in birthday suit, showing every inch of his rather firm and delicious body.]
[22:40]	Ai`	attempts to hug Liu now, while also glancing at the newcomer.
[22:40]	Jonah	"Oh. Hey. 'Sup."
[22:40]	Liu	stares at him wide-eyed, face red and puffy
[22:40]	Liu	"...J-Jonah..."
[22:40]	Jonah	put his hands up, a mix of 'what's up' and 'sorry I'm late' -ish.
[22:41]	Jonah	"So I remember doing something and something"
[22:41]	Jonah	"and suddenly I am lying face down on a cold hard floor somewhere."
[22:41]	Jonah	"Sheesh, it IS cold. Wonder why the floor can be that cold."
[22:41]	Liu	explodes off the ground, tackling him mid-sentence, burying his face in her chest
[22:41]	Jonah	"BUHAH!"
[22:41]	Liu	"Jonaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
[22:41]	`GM	[D'AWW END!]
