  1. Avron needed to find a way to stop the war once and for all, he had already seen the puppeteer and knew that he would be unable to face it without a reasonable weapon. So he left, leaving his second-in-command in control of his armies with strict orders to keep his absence a secret for as long as possible and not to let the dread army break their line. He had no idea where to start, “where would one start to look for a way to end such an evil” he thought, so he started at the shrine of Azura in Morrowind. The demon god told him of a blade known as the Blade of Virtue, once wielded by the lord Nerevar who killed Dagoth Ur and ended the blight, and how it was now being wrongfully held by a corrupt Hlaalu Lord. He was not told how such a person came to own it, just that he did not know it’s potential. Avron set off to Balmora, which by now had all but completely rebuilt itself and was bustling with activity, where he found the seat of House Hlaalu. It wasn’t hard to see that the weilder of the mighty blade would not part with it when Avron asked to buy it from him saying it was an heirloom, offering quite a hefty sum too. The man offered to duel for it ,using other weapons of course, and said that if he won that h would get the ring that Avron wore( which for those of you who don’t know helps Avron to stay in human form during nighttime and full moons). The duel lasted nearly an hour and spanned the length of the city, when Avron finally won he had a new respect for the man prowess in fighting but still disliked him for his corruption. The sword in his possession Avron returned to Azura who told him how to use the sword, which was that you needed to cut your hand and let the blood run onto the handle and down the blade then you would choose a target and attack willing that that target be the one to use it on, this only worked though if the weilder was fully aware of what it would do. Azura then told him that it would take not only his life, but that it would destroy his and the enemies soul. It took a full year for Avron to return to his army who had long since found out about his absence and had thought he had left them for dead. With two and a half years under the belt of this war Avron had decided to end it, little did he know he would not even reach the Imperial City alive.
