To make your own CD (Dream Explorer + VMU files):

1. Create a new "dream_explorer" directory at your hard disk drive's root ("C:/dream_explorer" for example)

2. Place the content of the scrambled binary archive into the "dream_explorer" directory.

3. Place the content of the GUI files archive into the "dream_explorer" directory.

4. Create a new "vmu_files" subdirectory in the "dream_explorer" directory.

5. Place your .VMI+.VMS or .DCI files into the "vmu_files" directory. Don't rename the .VMI/.VMS and make sure each .VMS has its own .VMI in the same directory.

6. Start BootMake + CDI4DC.

7. Select the "dream_explorer" directory thanks to the "Browse..." button in the "Source directory" frame.

8. Select the IP.BIN file located in the "dream_explorer" directory thanks to the "Browse..." button in the "IP.BIN" frame.

9. Select your CDI image's path thanks to the "Browse..." button in the "Destination file" frame.

10. Put a blank 700MB (80min) CD-R in your burner.
Don't use CD-RW.

11. Open the burning software Disc Juggler 3.50.830.
WARNING, VERSIONS PREVIOUS 3.50.830 CAN'T AUTODETECT THE IMAGE FORMAT. VERSIONS 4.XX AND NEXT HAVEN'T BEEN TESTED.

12. Start a new burning (File > New... > CD Image to CD Recorder)

13. Select the CDI image thanks to the "Browse" button in the "Source" frame.

14. Select a burner in the "Destination" frame.

15. Select the lowset speed with the "Method" slider.

16. Start burning by pressing the "Start" button.

17. Once the burning is finished, put your CD in your Dreamcast and start. Dream Explorer should automatically start like any game.
